Genuine qWhat is the benefit over t0rrn.t sites like rar>bg & TPB ?

You are not waiting for seeds is the main benefit plus you are not visiting torrent sites (obviously but important to some)

Nzbgeek has a free option or paid if you want API access, it's the best public one

    First rule about Usenet ??????......

That proverbial cat/cliché was well out of the bag in about 2010

Newsgroupdirect are perfectly fine BTW, long time Highwinds reseller. I have a block of many years standing since I dip into Usenet only periodically and rarely use nzb files. Never had any speed, access or completion issues.

Not only a good price but a good provider with deep retention.

crazy cheap. that's about 1/10th of a normal months fee. it's about a months fee of one big server. i think i had a $24 a year deal earlier this year that i went with
  19. rodney_jxl's avatar
Wow that’s a great price, I used to pay 5 quid a month but not paying 25 a year for cube.net
Is it worth me changing? Tbh I rarely use the service now

Deep retention, interesting, I've not heard anyone say that before about a US based company! (edited)

    Looks good for the price.

As expected it looks like you can't share your account and very few allow that these days but the big question for me is what is the takedown like?

Binsearch is okay for free with no sign up etc. I use a few closed sites for my setup, but still use Binsearch when I want to search manually

Isn't Usenet that service that pops up when you watch a YouTube video to download "RuNeScApE hackS Working 2005 no survey" but you have to actually purchase Usenet to download the file

Anyone using them? 10 years retention looks good. So no speed limits and true unlimited? I am intrigued to use it but not sure.

Assuming you're an Easynews user? I managed to get a big discount on their unlimited package earlier this year through a techradar offer. It's still much more expensive than this though and I do like their webinterface.

Yes I also took the discount. It looked cheap at the time but now this....
Does NewsGroupDirect have search facilities which are comparable to Easynews?

Have a look at the comparison here -> techradar.com/uk/…ers

They don't have a web interface like Easynews from looking at their website or a newsgroup reader. (edited)

On using this, the retention is certainly NOT a year. I have tried it and it's failing with 10 month old stuff and 9 month old stuff. Only stuff that has worked for me so far at the most is 3 month. As such it isn't so much better than what I have already with Virgin
