I assume with these big power chargers being used on phones that only allow 15w charging etc there is no risk of damage to the battery etc.

I was looking at getting one of these to travel with and charge a Microsoft Surface Laptop instead of the standard plug and also use it to change by Moto G phones.

Is it Samsung super fast charging 1.0 or 2.0?

I've no idea what the difference is but supposedly 2.0 allows bypassing of the battery if gaming or something (edited)

SFC 1.0 is 25w
SFC 2.0 is 45w
Not sure on the bypassing battery part.

As for whether this supports SFC2.0 or not, you'll have to search through the amazon reviews on a computer or try it and return if it doesn't (assuming you have a compatible cable of course).

Anker sell old and new versions, so it's a bit confusing. Amazon aren't great with product information on electronics either. (edited)
