There has been a few cable deals lately with people looking for 10/20gbps, USB 3.2 etc which aren't cheap so I'm giving these a go if anyone is interested trying at this price on Aliexpress.
You'll need to spend £7-8 to get free delivery which can be a bit of a juggle.
I always find something I need ( (lol)) to top up ......

sorted byLooks like 2m is out of stock.
These days USB4 40Gbps 240W cables are cheap on AliExpress and 1m and shorter these are 100% compatible with ThunderBolt 4. But they are passive cables and with lengths over 1m the speed will start to degrade.
Thunderbolt no use for me.
I can use apps like Ampere to test to test charging speeds etc with devices that except high speeds etc but I would like to find a half decent way to test cables without expensive testers (edited)
