    What does it mean by "timber bits" in the title?
    Only suitable to be used for screws into timber?

    They are hard designed for semi hard materials. Meaning they are ideal for screwing directly into semi hard wood but also fine for pre-drilled holes into other surfaces.
    If you were trying to screw directly into hardwood or a surface with a similar resistance they won't stand up to the torque required. (They or the screw head would disintegrate)
    Basically, they're fine for almost all normal applications.

    Am I the only one who keeps buying these because they are supposedly discounted? I have not used them for a long time. I might have some duplicates.

    They are all sized PZ2, so yes I would imagine you'd have duplicates!
    (this isn't a mixed size/type selection of bits)
