Can you use Xbox gift cards? If so comes down to £310.65 through work scheme
    Eddie1337's avatar
Yes, I did that. You need to redeem them first and add them to your MS wallet first. See my other comment above.

It's just showing the build your device price from £420 for me unless I'm missing something?

You add the code later at checkout.

Would you be able to buy Xbox gift cards online at a reduced rate and use your account balance to purchase this? Would be even more of a saving then... (edited)

That's amazing! Thanks mate! I've had an old £50 voucher I got as a gift from work and I've added that too and it worked out £277 with some pennies combined with XBOX22XSX code. Cheers!

How did you use the £50 voucher. I'm in the same boat but only one option for a code. Did you add it to your account then go through checkout?

    Edit: typo (edited)

Are these generally new these refurb versions?

    That doesn't make sense

A pity they didn't continue with the Black Fri / pre Xmas price of £329.99 for the refurbished models, on the official Xbox Store. It's odd that they hiked it by £90 for the very same deal, considering the console isn't getting any younger!

They are a bit shady with how they deal with orders for standard delivery and also express. They state on their website that, if you order by 12, it will be sent same day. However, what they really do is, if you opt for free delivery (even before the 12 cut-off) they literally just sit on it for 24 hours before sending it! I am not debating the delivery method itself, but when they are advertising as same day dispatch, they can't just sit on an order for 24 hours. You would expect the free one is a 48 hour or 3 day service which would be finE.

They sat on my order all day and it is still as "pending" and only pre-authed with my bank and Microsoft won't cancel it, and they state they have to "put in a request" even though the order hasn't even been charged. I seriously discourage anyone from using Microsoft, as they don't answer to any regulatory body or have a complaints process, and their trained chimp chat advisors do whatever they want. The supervisor had me sat for over 1 hour asleep at his desk (no joke) with no response, if that paints the picture for you about what you would be dealing with.

Just leaving it out there as their customer service is worst i've received. Better to go with Amazon. Shame as their tech support guys are great. (edited)

Thanks OP. I sat on the fence on a few of these xBox deals but have gone for it to upgrade my Series S.

    Cheers OP.

Almost opted for the One S (refurbished) as a second console in the house but for a little bit extra the Series X at £329 is too tempting. Bought!

Mine arrived today. BRAND NEW. Not even a single fingerprint on it. The controller had the original sticker on it, cables etc. all brand new, still with plastic wrappers etc.

Thank you, bought one for 297 with cdkeys (50 pound x5, 40 pound x2) saved around 33!
Best part is I had this EXACT amount as win from crypto from it standing in my crypto wallet for the last 2 years so it's basically FREE for me.
    (i hate binance)
