As mentioned this has an auto discount of £30 that is added at checkout. Which is why the link initially shows £509.99 when you click through.

If you already own a Xiaomi product you can get another £30 coupon off....

IMEI redemption. See ad in Mi App scroll down below 'Daily Picks' section.

Once confirmed it places a £30 coupon in your available coupons. It works on this product and would take it down to £449.99.

And then potential for Mi Points off on top.

Windows on an ARM CPU- that is a very bad idea at such a premium price. Windows has always had versions compiled for non-x86 architectures, and they always had major issues despite what MS says. Windows on x86 is bad enough - but has the advantage of the widest range of software imaginable- its one reason for success. On ARM, you are expected to stick to dreadful 'modern' MS apps- making it a worse choice than Apple or Android.

Not anymore, a lot has changed since the release of Microsoft surface X.

Compared to surface X premium price this is extremely cheap now, i preferred the native windows 11 on Matebook E over this but then that was when this was £200+ more expensive at this price or cheaper depending on your mi points balance this isn't too bad of a deal, you would be running x64 software under emulation but majority of all software will now work with no IT knowledge needed.

Should throw in the pen as bundle over the charger tho (edited)

snapdragon 8 cx gen 2 is bad in terms of performance compared to other devices in it's price range, only thing going for this device is the included pen and touchscreen display and decent battery. windows on arm has improved but it is still very limiting and unstable.

I used a 7c Gen 2 device last month and it was dreadful, I would have expected more from the 8cx though…
