Free versions of Microsoft Office

Does anyone know if there are any free versions of Microsoft Office that you can use for word.

    "Word" by itself is free.

    Do you mean a free MS Office product or a free alternative? For MS, I believe they do a free online suite. For alternatives, there's things like OpenOffice. Don't think they will offer the full works of Office, but it should provide the basics.
