Looks a bit basic to be honest

Looks a bit assembly language more like.

I think this is beautiful and definitely something I will be getting before its gone. Assuming the price will be below £250, well I hope so.

Yes, it is really expensive isn't it. But, its gone to back order now, so I think its going to sell out soon.

To be expected though as it’s a high piece count set with some complex features too. But I try and limit myself to minifig scale stuff that I can set up scenes for display

Very unlikely to have many price drops, and if there are any price drops they would be at most £20 off. A set like this is very popular and tbf very reasonabely well priced imo.

It's supposedly compatible with the Mario "gaming" kits, but other than the leaks from Chinese media and a cryptic teaser tweet from lego there's not much info at the moment.

But how is it on the TV if the cartridge isn't even in the console

    Totally pointless.

Interactive set apparently with a handle that moves Mario or the scenery on the screen

Place your bets; will half the people whenever Nintendo Tweets it be saying:

A “Why did you make this instead of games Nintendo?” (Because obviously Nintendo puts aside games for a few months to work on Lego)

B “Why is it so expensive?” (Because they don’t know this is standard price for Lego)

Or C “Why doesn’t it play actual NES games?” (Which would be pretty cool I admit)
