Office stuck on "Updating Microsoft 365 and Office, please wait a moment", please help.

For a few days now when opening any office apps on my laptop, I get this message:
"Updating Microsoft 365 and Office, please wait a moment"
I have done the Repair and Reset options in the Settings for Office.

I have Windows 11 running with M365 Office v.18.2303.1201.0
