Oppo handset O Roaming question

Is this similar to eSIM , without the faff of needing eSIm enabled phone ? WHat are the limitations ? IF its agame changer, why are other manufacturers not implementing such apps/options ?

Genuinely curious about its usability and convenience from those who have user expereince of this.
