I buy these when they are on offer. Just wait until one pass is about to expire and then redeem the next one. I have been doing this for 2 years

    Great VFM. Heat added.
For those who already have a Chromecast who are getting this deal, consider getting this 3 month £5 deal before using the 6 month pass that you get here. Once you've entered a valid 6 month pass you cannot use any other offer until 1 month before the pass expires.

These Now TV boxes are less of a good deal, as Sky has recently prevented them installing Plex, so you cannot use them as a cheap network media server.

Got this deal a while back.Great deal in my eyes, 6 months of Sky one, Atlantic etc plus all the box sets for just over £3 a month. No brainer to me.

What do you do with the devices? Sell them? Give as gifts? Keep them?

Build a Wall or Partition - I already have 12. Using the black and white gives a nice checkerboard effect.

To be honest, the boxes aren't great- they can be a bit slow, and the remotes are dodgy once you're a few metres away from the box

Newer LG and Samsung TVs have their own NOWTV (and Plex) apps which work brilliantly from your normal remote.

This deal is really about getting Sky entertainment for £3.33 a month - a steal.

Thanks for the heads up OP. My Movies and Entertainment is running out in June and I was searching eBay for the best prices on the passes. These match the prices on eBay, have a box (not needed) thrown in as well, and I don't run the risk of getting sent a dud code.

They say each code lasts 12 months from the date of purchase.

Cheers for posting the deal! Got both the Entertainment and Cinema.

Now TV should really create a non-box bundle for people who already own one (or more in my case).

Take that off the £20 and you have a bargain. My six month entertainment pass ends next month so will buy another £20 box and then set up with Entertainment for another six months.

I am stunned that people buy them for around a tenner, you seem them at car boots for £10 too - and people buy them! (I have sold a few on eBay...)

Do these connect to wifi like an Amazon firestick? Cheers

Yes they are wifi. The black one has ethernet as well as wifi. (And a usb socket that does nothing...)

We have used ours once since they banned plex. We used to have it on all the time for the kids TV we have on the PC, but now we no longer have it there, we just use BT TV. Won't be renewing in June when mine expires. Hopefully others do the same

    And in English that means?

They haven't really explained it well there. With Now TV you can register up to 4 devices on one account, and they can be a mixture of these boxes or laptop or games console. So you could give a box each to three friends but that wouldn't work well as you can only use a maximum of two at any one time.

You can't stack straight away, only in the final month of an existing "contract". Within the final (3rd) month of the chrome deal, login to your now tv account and then enter the code number that you get in the box with this offer. That will give you 3 months plus 6 months for a total outlay of £24.99. Near the end of the 6 month pass either keep your eyes peeled for further now TV offers or cancel your subscription to avoid paying full whack, and pick up a deal when you next need one.

I'm not saying that they won't re-activate a pass after 12 months, but as … I'm not saying that they won't re-activate a pass after 12 months, but as far as I can tell, there is the possibility they might not. Paraphrasing their terms and conditions, all passes can expire, (even those bought on their own website and not yet used.)The Expiry Date question has been asked a few times over the years, on the Now TV Forums. In this post from Jan 2017, the Now TV Moderator states... "If purchased from an official retailer (such as Tesco, Asda, Dixons or John Lewis - there are many more) the vouchers within a NOW TV Box bundle should be eligible for a year after purchase. This is also the case for many gift cards which can also be purchased in stores. If you're concerned about the eligibility of a specific code, our live chat or email team can check any individual voucher for you."

They could, but not very good customer relations and the buyer ditching NowTV in a huff. Wouldn't be worth it. Depends how far outside the 12 months when you try to reactivate it. Don't take the p*ss I guess would be the general rule of thumb.
