Weirdly you can't & the original (blue logo) boxes are pretty expensive second-hand. I got mine new from a HUKD post about three years ago for £20 & it's still one of my favourite things - you can pause both live TV & NowTV streams, rewind either feed up to half an hour, it smoothly integrates all NowTV passes into the EPG so there's no faffing about, I can't understand why they removed the Freeview tuner from the later 4K (purple logo) model.

Best option ebay, as now tv no longer make the ones with Freeview HD built in.

No only the original Now TV Smart Box had freeview.

Back to being a busy bee again unfortunately (embarrassed)

Does anyone know if you still can get the now box with aerial port on the back to receive freeview channels has well.

Fantastic deal however they are unable to port my number from talk talk . Had my landline number for over 30 years so not taking the deal because of this . Never had a problem porting my number before

Just a warning on that cashback. I was also supposed to get £100 via QuidCO and they declined it without explanation or the chance to appeal. I honestly wouldn't touch NowTV again, not just because of this but because of their total lack of customer service channels through the pandemic. They've simply just fully shut down their Live Chat!

its exactly the same as Sky, they use Skys network...

Anyone had any issues porting landline number from virgin to now tv ? Also Just signed up. Quidco Tracked within 5 minutes so fantastic. Definite heat from me! Just got off the phone with them - They unchecked the box on online signup so are not able to port the landline! Its just absurd this is! They said you have to book it by phone or cancel the current account then create a new one in order to port the landline.Terrible service!

Ah, just to say they have actually managed to sort this out now so my upcoming bill will be £18. Still no email though. Oh, and just as an aside, when I spoke to the first person about renewing at £18 he threw in a 3 month NowTV movies code too.

Ah, £15 cheaper and I'd have probably got the base version with Rick & Morty

Thanks, I think I will go for the mega pack just to be sure, since Game doesn't offer free return. If only Sony gave the v2 a new retail packaging, there wouldn't be any more doubt like this.

I’ll be very shocked if Game has any stock of the V1 that isn’t preowned. I think the V2 on the Mega Pack means it’s the second version of the Mega Pack as it contained different games at one point. :)

Is the starter pack really V2 though? Game doesn’t mention it anywhere on their page, but the mega pack is labelled clearly as v2...

Yeah but look between the cashback sites too as that can vary. There’s quidco, topcashback plus possibly different work ones

What's the trick here if u don't mind me asking? Search the car insurance you want on the price comparison site then search that company in topcashback?

If you’ve got any work schemes it’s worth looking through them too. I got house insurance through there, went with British Gas (didn’t even know they did insurance til that point) and for a £110 policy I should get £50 odd back in the next few weeks (I’ve been waiting about 3 months but still half back ain’t bad)

I pay £2.66pm for my entertainment pass and £4.80pm for the Movie pass. If you pay full price, then I guess this can be seen as a deal.

I'll second that. Actually any Roku, as you also get more app options too.

Cheaper buying individual on cdkeys

Isn't this based on the model up from the Roku Premiere, the Roku Streaming Stick+, as it has TV controls on the remote and is a stick? Just wondering. Either way, the Premiere is working great for me - having Plex as an app is superb!

Many are buying these just for the passes. I did and then watch via my Roku or PC. (y) Sold the stick for £10.

Yes they can as I've done it a few times. You just login to your existing account on the stick and they are transferred to that. You don't have to activate them immediately I think! If you already have say an active Cinema pass it will just show as a voucher in your account and you can activate it later.

Ive been trying for a while to sign up using this link with Now TV. Unfortunately, at the drop down menu stage for address, it keeps bouncing back - finally asking me to call them to set it up - thereby negating TCB cashback! Anybody else having the same problem?

I don't see why not. You could start the order process and see if it gives you the option to keep your number.

Can you switch from Sky to this and keep your number?

Its a shame the cashback is not for existing customers, but still a great deal, only vodaphone comes close to this price point from the big companies.

I have two NOWTV accounts and one wanted £5.99 for the stick whilst the other offered it for free (no p&p costs either). No guessing which offer I went for. Now arrived and does the job. Paired with my Harmony remote. All good.

Thanks got mine!

My £5 one came quick for me. Hardware is pretty brilliant. Nice tidy stick, power cable to USB port and plug attachment if needed (you don't get that with the equivalent 1080p Roku...'box'). The remote is labelled Roku inside the battery compartment. Like the stick though, it's all Now TV branded outside. It has volume rocker, power button, and dictation button - all features missing from the 1080p and 4K Rokus (but not the premium Roku stick, which looks just like this, but supports 4K). The software is where it falls down. As well as prominently featuring NowTV content when you switch it on, and showing a TV Guide based on the Entertainment Pass in the main menu, the Now TV app is prominently placed first on the 'My Apps' list - you can't move it further down the list, or even delete it, but you can fortunately delete the rest of the auto-install apps, including Sky Sports News and Sky Store (which makes it's remote shortcut button take you back to the option to reinstall it). You also can't search all of Roku's apps - just the ones Sky have approved, which severely limits your choice. You can't get Google Play, Amazon Prime TV, Apple TV, or Spotify, but you can get Disney+ and The Roku Channel, which works perfectly, giving you a bit more free content. The wallpaper can't be changed from it's NowTV version either. All in all, I definitely don't feel robbed having only paid a fiver. Maybe £10-12 full price. Obviously they sell the stick with passes (no passes in this box) which shifts the value around a lot.

Thanks OP - got mine! How does this compare to the Amazon fire stick 4k? How about the non 4k fire stick?

To be fair, that's not too difficult a hurdle. Largely because the Xbox 1 was gash.

NOW TV - 1 Month Entertainment Pass

I contacted CD keys about my expired code and they didn't want to know as 7 days had gone by!!! Had to contact NowTV who said it expired 16th May 6 days after purchase! No warning from cd keys at all! Now TV kindly gave me a working code. IF YOU BUY FROM CDKEYS BE WARNED!

Mine was expired when I tried to use 11 days after purchase. Just messaged them to try to resolve.

Its not a scam, I've bought codes of here many times, so have many good people on HUKD, its why we post these deals to share and help one another, why don't you try and get involved in this community and actually provide something useful.

What the hell has that got to do with anything? We don't all live with our noses in our phones! You seem to have gone to a strange amount of trouble - you're either OCD or cdkeys themselves. You certainly have an axe to grind. A scam is a scam, mate. I paid money and got nothing.

Does this deal include line rental? My Now Broadband deal is about to expire, would try to talk them into gunning me this if so.

I have a dilemma with now tv they have upped the bill to 40 quid. Wife is with vodafone so went to them got offered 64mb broadband 20 a month with 75 Amazon voucher bit contract is 2 years. Called now tv got counter offer 32mb broadband free calls and 3 month movies 22.99m do I stay with now tv or go with vodafone with faster broadband

I am also on the lookout for an Anytime calls package (even though the prices are generally uncompetitive with mobile Anytime packages). eg BT - take their broadband and add anytime landline calls for £15/month or £5/month to add a mobile sim with unlimited minutes! I believe NOW routinely offer Anytime-inclusive packages (at least inclusive for the initial contract term). BUT BUT BUT the "Community" section of their website (Broadband bit) has many tales of woe about NOW's ineptitude or carelessness in failing to allow new customers to keep their old landline number. Oddly, especially if they were moving from Sky! For the same reason I am looking for an Anytime package, I also really NEED to keep the old number! Also be aware that NOW (and Sky) insist that you use their router, on which the WiFi seems to be poorer than usual. (They won't supply credentials for you to input into a better router.) And with some of their routers having just two ethernet ports, your first purchase might be an ethernet hub/switch, so that you have a clear socket to which you can connect your better-wifi (Access Point, Mesh, whatever). And their customer support seems to have gone completely AWOL during lockdown. I don't think I am brave enough!

There might be cashback with quidco or tcb then, keep a eye out, I managed to get £180 back (TCB mistake 😁) and pay £18 a month.

Sorry didn't notice your reply. The problem I have with it is it doesn't say the total price at the top, or indeed anywhere at all. It says £3.43 for three months of now tv. Then in smaller print at the bottom it vaguely says for a discount of £2.66. You may know that that means £2.66 x 3 plus the purchase price but it is not clear to those who don't already know. Nowhere does it state the total price leaving a consumer to basically guess what they mean. It also makes it difficult to compare with the this offer which is £3.49 a month IN TOTAL and thus cheaper per month that the gamivo offer. And buying a months pass off amazon for £2.99 would be even cheaper. Though you will notice about that davy927tenpole has posted thinking that gamvivo is cheaper than amazons prices, so presumably he has also been confused by their misleading headline pricing into a mistake.

I have a code I bought off Amazon if someone would like it, a can't use it because I'm already on an offer. Your welcome (popcorn) NNOWGAJL34JLUJQ,

Same here

I'm not quite sure what the issue is It's £3.43 for the code, and then £2.66 per month when you add the code. Expiry date end of June. Says at the top in big black writing. So £11.41 for 3 months of entertainment. You also don't have to pay all up front which might be useful to some buyers. Says at the bottom that the seller has completed 1800 sales and has a rating of 99% so I'd suggest pretty reliable At Amazon, same discount code is sold for £4.52 So £12.50 for 3 months of entertainment with a decent expiry date (2 months to add the code). That seller has a 96% positive rating, so again pretty reliable Same seller also sells cinema discount codes for those that are intestested.

Watch out for the small print though. You don't get now tv for those prices. You get a "discount" on now tv so it is another £.3.33 a month on top of the code price or some random amount. Still cheaper than the full price but all rather complicated, and not completly upfront.
