Seems like a good deal. Ugreen make quality stuff. Nice spot OP.
I have Bluetooth headphones, but I would not buy a phone without the 3.5mm jack to be honest, lads.
I am all for choice, but don't like Big Tech sitting down and dictating to us, the consumer, what we should or shouldn't look for in a handset when it comes to a feature that has always been there. They should be responding to consumer need. Ultimately we vote with our feet I suppose but it would be nice to see them asking us what we options we want to see retained.
Wireless headphones wont work with oldskool MP3 players. My auld Goodmans model is built like a tank and will run for a day on one AAA battery, yet is only the size of a Bic lighter. Wired models work with that - and a brandnew phone - just fine, and don't need to be charged, unlike the latest sort.
There can also be a security issue with Bluetooth, and NFC come to think of it.
I'm not saying it's a major worry but you can't hack into wired headphones remotely.
As others say this closes off your C port for charging and other functions such as cable transfer and a hard tug on the add-on might cause damage to the phone. (edited)

    Here's a dangling one.
I just got this for my Samsung:

    It works great.

I would go for the dangling one. I don't like the ideal of the one putting stress on the USB port.

Agreed. Looks convenient, but in reality, a good tug could damage the port or the adapter. At least with the other versions there is some give, and likely more durable too.

    I'm using

    Decent built quality.

The dangling ones are not as resilient as this. I had a couple of dangling ones and they lasted only a few months with regular use, this is better.
However I buy mine from aliexpress, last ones of these I bought were a touch under 3 quid each inc UK VAT.

For those of us with decent wired cans, these are a good thing. Also, the Bose wireless NC ones I have aren't good when it's windy out, so some decent wired non- noise-cancelling cans are a handy thing to have. (edited)

Yes Kupo, totally missed opportunity really. Wouldn't it have been great if this was like a USB-C pass through with the headphone socket to the side?

looks like a good way to damage your USB c port.

I always remember having a Motorola phone, and if I drop it in the charger the fixing pads on the solder joints would fail everytime
