    Great find this, I'm usually happy to pay £1.25 for this when making lasagne as I find it nicer than dolmio, absolute bargain at 10p, I would probably buy 4 jars if my local has them.🔥🔥

    Looks like it's discontinued as I can't find any reference to it online whatsoever other than in a pouch for about $99 for 6. It seems that the brand has shifted to a 30% less fat version with no butter whatsoever in it.

    What exactly does Lloyd mean by white sauce? This isn't America in the 1950s, anyone should be able to buy this.

    Alternatively, spend 5-10 minutes making it from scratch. Not hard, then again with the cost of butter nowadays, could be considered a luxury item soon!

    Great sauce. Often £1 in ASDA. As another posted suggested, expect this is short date or (if it’s best before rather than use by) even out of date.
