Please like to push it to top of the thread:

Ok so I negotiated a package with sky over the phone as a new customer and accepted it for £49 per month. On advice of another I phoned up to cancel the order two days later and got through to retentions and this is the deal I managed:

Sky Sports, Entertainment, Kids, HD & Ultra for £37 per month for 18 months with a £100 bill credit. Plus Sky go for watching on an xbox etc which doesn't require an extra payment. Affectively over 18 months this is around £31.33 per month. Folks are paying £25 a month for Now Sports in 720p. I highly encourage you to adopt this method.

    Nice, very nice deal.

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to install satellite dish...

I was hoping that they will do the £9.98 Sky Sports Day pass with 8 free months (which they extended 10 months) of Sky Sports mobile deal again. That was the deal of the year last season, I used it to watch PL & NFL seasons, World Darts and summer rugby internationals on the TV (using BlueStacks on my windows 8 laptop and an HDMI cable).

That explains why my mobile account expires in September.....thanks for that will be queueing it up for arsenal tomoz night

I bit the bullet and took actual sky. I phoned up and this is what I took for £49 per month discounted from their internet page.

    UHD pack
    Sky Entertainment
    Sky Sports
    Netflix
    Sky go (works on xbox)
Installation fee £20 paid but refunded as account credit too.

I could get the 19.99 Now deal for 12 months but thats at 720p at 25 fps second. Adding an extra £5 takes that to £25 for 1080p and I needed a saterlite dish anyway as freeview for me is poor signal and the netflix bundled in too at UHD which I have anyway so for me in my circumstances worth the price this time. May feel different in 18 months when I don't need to think about having a dish installed.

Also, don't forget the time delay with Now TV (and indeed Sky Glass). I know it doesn't bother everyone, but when I am watching sports I want it to be as close to live as possible and Sky Sports on Now TV is over 30 seconds behind live.

If, by any chance it's only the Premier League games that you want, Sky Cinema have an offer currently where they include Paramount+ for free. (Or if you're paying for Paramount+ anyway)
With the exception of USA, Paramount+ is a portable product, so your UK account can be used when you travel abroad (to Mexico, for instance).
Paramount+ Mexico has the broadcasting rights for the EPL. by using a VPN/SmartDNS/Streamlocator etc you can open your Paramount+ app (on Smart TV/Tablet/Phone) and watch every EPL match.
Ironically, this can even be done on a SKY Q box if you have it behind your VPN.
Only down side, is currently, audio is only in Spanish. Para+ have suggested this may change at some point.

My pass runs out today, then it's goodbye to Sports. Not paying £300 in any shape or form, then factoring in Boost cost (even at £2 per month).

My Now Entertainment runs out next month then its highly likely I'll be completely unsubscribed from Now.

I know costs have gone up but these greedy companies just can't resist can they.

This is a poor deal considering it was £200 for 12 months last year. I just cancelled my season pass and got offered 6 months at £20. Not great but better than this
  8. hotukdealsgromit's avatar
Wasn't it around £19-£20 last week...

Yeah, but only for a chosen few...

This offer is open to everybody, and is not amazing, but is something at least.

Think £19.99 is my breakpoint will hang fire for now
  10. user777's avatar
After a few years of having annual pass, I got no offer at all... so I accepted it
£20 p/m (or £200 p/a upfront) is about the maximum I am willing to pay.
£25 for 720p, no pause & rewind and usually no red button, they can keep it to themselves

This year I went back to sky. £37 a month for sport, uhd, entertainment and kids with a £100 account credit too. I wanted a dish as Freeview where I am is naff signal so the math works for me this year. Now have slowly edged prices similar to sky and given the quality of sky is better, for me sky wins this time round allbeit it's an 18month contract, so no breaks in payment. Cancelled my Netflix too, will subscribe now and then if worth it.

£25pm for 720p and crap surround sound. No thanks
  12. Stormbringer's avatar
It's the same price as it was a few years ago £25 per month so that's a bonus. I wouldn't touch it at the standard £34 a month that's just too much ! I will take it at roughly £6 per week since they have a lot of Live Premier League games on offer.
  13. Gadgeygooga's avatar
This is a rip off compared to previous deals and it's still 720p 🤮
  14. WeeJoe's avatar
£19.99 is fair enough for football season, but £25 for 12 months (so covers quieter summer months) with cost of living crisis and when no Premier League football in December? Why not offer everyone the £19.99 deal? Will give this a miss. Better deal will no doubt be offered.
    YourSongIsEnding's avatar
I think you can cancel it anytime. But yeah, I really would like the £20 offer instead of this one.
  15. Mark_LXyJ's avatar
    Thanks, saved me £9/month

Thanks - there's been better deals but I am back to £33pm so this has worked nicely

It's normally only when you cancel part way through these deals that they can't be stacked. Should work for you on Tuesday though

In the absence of another annual pass (was £200 last year) I’ve plumped for the £20/month for 6 months that was offered when I went to cancel my membership. If a better offer comes along I will cancel this deal.

If anyone’s interested, with various offers I’m currently paying £33/month for Entertainment (including Kids), Movies, Sports and Boost. Watching in different locations is important for me (not account sharing), as I have more than one property. Would be much more expensive to have more than one Sky sub, and Sky Go isn’t nearly as useful as the Now app for me. (edited)
  20. BargainBasementBill's avatar
I Think Now are playing hardball with the yearly sports pass.
Still waiting for a good deal to turn up.
I'm not going to blink first too expensive at the moment. Maybe there might be some deals early next month.

What offers are people getting when trying to cancel?
    Arsenal86's avatar
I got offered 6 months at £20 a month when I cancelled. I’ve taken it but will look to cancel around November and see what offers come up in the new year.

I'm sure others will post it, but I've just received an email from Now TV with an offer for Sky Sports for £19.99 for 12 months.
    beavis2007's avatar
    Yes me too finally!

I went for the £200 for 12 months deal last year. It ends on August 5th and I've got a voucher lined up on a backup account, £20 for 6 months. Will have to wait and see whether there are any offers in February next year.
  25. scottydogg81's avatar
I had an email 2 days ago offering me the exact same but for 19.99 a month and still wouldn't pay it and I'm a massive fan of sport.

Could I have your code please if you’re not using it?
  26. superstarbj1's avatar
What about sky F1 is this included?
    bitz2007's avatar
Yes all 11 Sky Sports channels are included.
  27. Sunrayho's avatar
My email from Now offers £19.99p a month for 12 months, (not that I want it!).
    Mo84's avatar
Can you message me the voucher code then? If you're not going to use it that is. (edited)

My pass expires tonight so I'll wait until tomorrow to see if I get anything better personally then probably go for this.

It says if you get the boost at an extra £5 you can stream on three devices. Does that mean you could go halves or thirds with friends and watch in three different houses.
    DonkeyKonk's avatar
    Author
Yes it does, you can share in different addresses. Me and my dad live 60 miles away from each other but we have been doing that for years. I just set up my login in his iPad back then and been sharing ever since

I thought it was 2 devices at once though, not three, but that's all I use. (edited)

Like quite a few people here, I had an email offer for £19.99 a month for 12 months (that expired about 6 minutes ago) but I still have got a mobile pass active till middle of September and if they don’t offer anything for mobile pass again, would probably not bother at all. Love watching PL and Cricket (got BT Sports via EE which works fine on my chromebook without paying for big screen so European games are all covered) but can’t justify paying £20 + £5 for boost for a football game a wee and remaining test matches against South Africa.
  31. YourSongIsEnding's avatar
Anyone have any spare links for the £20 a month offer?
    Mo84's avatar
Even if they did, it wouldn't work. That deal expired on August 4th.
  32. gazzaa123's avatar
Won’t work on my account, let’s me get to checkout and when I sign in it says there was a problem and redirects me to the £33.99pm subscription
    DonkeyKonk's avatar

    That's odd.

Have you already got an active pass ? I waited till mine expired on Friday and I added this deal then (after checking my emails and the internet for any better offers, but failing to find any.).
  33. Master_Yoda's avatar
I just got an email but only offering £19.99 a month for 6 Months. The funny thing is they have been so bloody greedy and dragged this out for so long that they have pushed their customers into finding free streaming sites and they might not bother coming back. Last F1 race I easily streamed the race for free and what absolutely shocked me was the picture quality was much BETTER than what I get from NowTV lol. The resolution from NowTV on my PC is absolute garbage and seriously not worth paying for, and that's even with Boost which ludicrously years later still adds no improvement on PC. They are taking people for mugs (edited)

On trugether (site like ebay) there is an offer for 6 months for £20, you pay £9 for the code (so equivalent of £21.50 per month for 6 months)
