With prices starting at £3, you can be £2 in profit every month. Nice if you're passing

    Sim cards are 1 pound

Got it, thanks. It says you have to scan or swipe your card, but if you're ordering and paying online and your nectar card is linked, does that count? 😁

& - I asked Argos on Twitter about this given the precise wording of the whole needing-to-swipe/scan-your-card even online and they've confirmed it'll be auto applied if your Nectar card is linked to your Argos account. It'd be weird if it wasn't but I wanted to make sure just in case.

From Argos - "I can certainly answer that, as long as the Argos & nectar accounts the points will automatically be added within 30 days."

Is the email from Nectar? I only get emails from Argos and Sainsbury's. Thanks

I was considering purchasing batteries at £2 although they are a clearance item but I read this in the email, “Nectar points are not available in the Republic of Ireland, on delivery charges, purchases of Argos Gift Cards, e-Top ups, iTunes vouchers, gift cards, Argos Pet Insurance, Argos Monthly Care, in game currency, Argos clearance stores, Argos for business, Argos spares, mobile phone cards, vouchers or sims. ”.

Since the batteries are a clearance item would they be included in the offer or would they be classed as being from an “Argos clearance stores”?

You can see from the above comments that Nectar offers and their terms and conditions "are a bit tricky to understand".
I would interpret Argos Clearance Stores to mean Clearance Bargains eg. yelp.com/biz…all

If you put e.g. 257/5801 (a battery) in your Argos basket it says you will get Nectar Points. As I said above, if you put a SIM card in your basket, again it says you get Nectar Points, even though they too are supposedly excluded in the terms and conditions. (edited)

There will be a lot of unhappy Argos/nectar customers who don’t get this Count up to Christmas with Argos email, but they did similar with a recent promo with Sainsbury’s so I’m prepared to be disappointed!

Is there a limit to how much you need to spend, I got the email but don't have anything to buy. When do I need to make the 3 purchase can I do it back to back next month
    CrunchyFrog's avatar
Dates are in the OP and the email.

Above, nobody has found a minimum spend specifically required for the offer. I've stated, as mentioned in the t&c of the offer "Minimum spend to collect points = £1.", which appears to relate to collecting Nectar points in general. My guess is that you need to spend at least £1 to get the offer, but I could be wrong.

Above, the one and only item found under £1 is argos.co.uk/pro…871

    The next cheapest found are:

    - £1 Sim cards. However the t&c states "Nectar points are not available ... on ... sims.". However if you click on one ,e.g. argos.co.uk/pro…853 it tells you that you will "Collect 1 Nectar points", so who knows.

    - argos.co.uk/pro…562 (£1) , argos.co.uk/pro…515 (£1.05) but not many around.

    - Other clearance items found through argos.co.uk/eve…nce

    - Batteries from £2. (edited)

I checked my Nectar balance today and received 1100 points from Argos, no emails or mention of bonus points on my orders.

I have no idea how I received these points, Nectar is so random usually I need to go on chat to receive bonus points due!
  24. NCIS's avatar
I have made purchases in all three time periods and got no bonus points.

The first two Argos transactions base points have been added, but no sign of the bonuses.

    Yet another Nectar mess up.
  25. Wammer's avatar
To those who haven't had bonus points added, is the offer still showing in your Saved offers?

I saved a different offer with bonus points on 5 transactions before 30 November. First 2 added OK, but the offer has disappeared from my Saved offers
