Depends. How long the distance is, what’s above where the pipe needs to go? Is it just earth, slabs, tarmac etc. it can be very labour intensive, I’ve done it on two properties and it’s back breaking work digging the trench to required depth so it doesn’t freeze without machinery to help. Then there’s the remedial work. The blue pipe is the cheapest and easiest part. I’d suggest getting the largest width to the property for the price difference. Made a huge difference to the water supply in a 1950s bungalow suddenly got pressure.

My neighbour worked for United Utilities and ran a new pipe from the pavement 40ft under my drive using a automated mole with his work mates on a sunday after borrowing the 2 x vans, digger, and mole equipment.
Nice little cash in hand job for them on their day off.
No one harmed, everyone happy. Cost me about £120 quite a few years ago.

You will need to buy the blue pipe and then put it where you want it with one end for them to connect to the outside mains
