Technically you should be fine with the 1 year and then just renew if you ever need to make a claim.
still a good price for those who don't want to wait and have a costco membership or are willing to pay for membership 15 extra
Just a shame the 42" only launched this year.
Are others waiting or just purchasing?
Simple answer - YES - there is no such thing as an Evo panel it is a collection of things that LG badges Evo.
Complicated answer - Does it have the WBC or WBE panel? possibly but maybe not, though the difference seems negligible at best. You can check in the service menue and void your warranty or check out any colour/hue on the panel under certain conditions.
