These entry-level hiking boots feature the brand’s very own Stormgrip traction to enhance grip on uneven, damp, dog walking terrain. The mid height that covers your ankles deflects debris, and this pairs with rain-resistant, waterproof Storm Shield technology to keep water out of the boot.

Terrible reviews and "rain-resistant, waterproof" doesn't make sense. Are they weatherproof or just rain resistant? You can't have both.

Technically, if they are waterproof, they are also resistant to rain…

Check the reviews on their own website before you decide to buy.

They are good for £20 for a small walk each weekend round the park. They fall to bits on a few BIg walks in the peaks. But what do you expect for £20. Not waterproof.

Anyone know of brands that cater for wider feet, I find the average pair tight. Tried a few in at millets but sales asst had no idea (edited)

    Sounds good

They're Peter Storm boots, an own-brand of Go Outdoors, and all the other companies under the same umbrella- Black's, Tiso, Millet's.

...What's going on there anyway- isn't this something approaching a monopoly? (edited)

Perfect case of people falling for inflated RRP deals

If you plan to go on 1 or 2 short local walks a year then fine. If you're thinking of going to treks these are a waste of time and any wet or boggy areas will leave your feet soaked.

Code works at Millets online so for £35 I ordered Men’s Rivelin Walking Boots instead, hopefully will keep my feet dry on wet dog walks.
