Give your room a glamorous finish with a pair of our decadent crushed velvet curtains in a contemporary charcoal. The sumptuous fabric is strokably soft with a lavish metallic sheen that creates a regal look when it catches the light. Not only will they add texture and style, these curtains are also fully lined. Their thick fabric will darken the room and has thermal properties to keep you warmer in winter, cooler in summer and help block out draughts.

We've chosen an eyelet hanging because it gives the curtains a modern pleat with even, visually pleasing folds that'll frame your window beautifully. They're also super straightforward to install. Simply slide the eyelets onto the curtain pole and you're done, zero fiddling required.

Got mine today and they are very thin and light so not for me. I almost though the lining was missing. Will be returning them and buying from somewhere else like Dunelm where I can get a proper look at the curtains before buying.

Thought the same in terms of the thinness, but I have decided just to buy a couple of these from Dunelm as the curtain itself is really nice looking and it should still work out cheaper than a proper pair of thermal blackouts when you consider the saving on the Argos curtain

I never know what curtain width I need to give an optimal look and insulation, can anyone help please? EG if my window is width 1.5m - what curtain width would I need? The advert measurements shown on curtain widths, are they of 1 curtain side, both combined or does it refer to window width? (edited)

I do double the window width so each curtain will be enough to cover the window if flat, I've just bought 2 lots of habitat blackout curtains and they are great (edited)

I have these from last year and they are beautiful- heavy and good quality- but very light grey. 90x90 were available then.

I'm thinking to get these front insulation on my front door. Do you think they will do the job?

Thanks OP, just ordered the 228cm drop ones for our door curtain.

OP looks like you're missing a digit on the drop dimension ...

    "Width 117cm X Drop 13cm" ... useful as a draught excluder 😃

I've just gone to buy two sets of the 117x137 and I'm getting £60? Am I missing something?

Ignore me, I'd selected grey instead of charcoal 🤦

Some of the reviews are not very good

Nearly 400 reviews though, majority good and some customer images that I like the look of. Have given it a go, if they look cheap.ill return but I'm very hopeful I won't. Thanks op
