Something worth considering is if you prefer digital and are a Nintendo Switch Online member (a lot of caveats, I know), you get a voucher to buy 2 games on the eShop for £84.

As Tear of the Kingdom is £60, you're basically getting another full price title for £25

(edited: removed mistake regarding Expansion Pass - thanks ) (edited)

I'd argue it's worth paying the extra £8 (£50 here to buy physically rather than effectively £42 with a voucher) to own the game physically rather than digitally.

Then there's the matter of, how much are you actually saving on the other voucher? What game would you redeem it for that you couldn't otherwise buy physically for £42 or less? (edited)

I went through TCB , although hit isn't listed I searched Base which was previous name I was then taken to hit website so thinking the cashback may still apply

Can confirm it tracks when you go through the base.com page on TCB. Thanks for the tip.

If anyone is interested in the collector's edition, you can register your interest on the Nintendo UK store: store.nintendo.co.uk/en/…dom

I can't see if they charge now or on dispatch?
    jco83's avatar
    Hit take payment on dispatch

Was just gonna say cheapest is HIT at the moment. Collectors edition I want, £120 for collectors it’ll be estimate as it’s $130 USA. But it’s also if I’m lucky to get one🤦🏼‍♂️ tempted to just pre order this and then cancel when Nintendo sort themselves out for the uk market
    Xtranathor's avatar
That's what I've just done! No idea whether I'll get a pre-order of the collector's edition in: the Nintendo website was atrocious last night, and they didn't even have the game available! £70 for the extras is probably also a bit steep - much worse value than most of their other collector's editions, in my opinion.

The price among majority of retailers has gone up £10 so not too bad.

Can’t pull the trigger on this until I know if weapons are breakable. Annoying as hell that feature.
    oliver_staunton's avatar
    I think they will be

I bought a cheap second hand switch lite recently to try out. After biting on this I guess that means I’ll have to switch that for an OLED
    chrispiner's avatar
The increased screen real estate alone is worth it!

Not anymore unfortunately, they are up to £59.95 now.

Where can we get the collectors edition?
    BabiDealings's avatar
    Nowhere at the moment

Hate paying £50 but as others have said, you're getting big resale value on this. Hopefully it gets to £45 as the sites compete but not going to hold out hope.
    djbhammer's avatar
Well if you pay £50 you are due 15p change! (edited)
  21. Mercurius's avatar
‘Pay on dispatch’ seems to be causing some problems. Am guessing they would prefer the cash now!

There are cheaper deals than this available online, but need to do some research to determine if the vendor is trustworthy. Electric Games looks alright to me from Trustpilot reviews
