In this narrative-driven, third-person survival horror game set 300 years in the future, the player will take on the role of Jacob Lee – a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security penitentiary located on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. When inmates begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison is thrown into chaos.To survive, Jacob must battle his way to safety to escape Black Iron Prison, while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath the surface of Callisto. sorted byNot very scary with a meh story. The dodging and fighting system works great in 1v1 situations, but fails when you're outnumbered.
And worst of all, terrible save checkpoints. (edited)
Played this before having ever experienced Dead Space.
Calisto Protocol looks beautiful but plays terribly. Controls are frustrating, the idea behind the combat is cool but doesn't work once you're up against multiple enemies as you'll find yourself unable to dodge successive hits.
Dead Space Remake blows it out of the water.
Dead Space is so much better.
