If you drive a Ford just slam the door and the trim drops off.

Thanks OP, just what I need, I have a cheap plastic one, but this is a bit more solid, have to take back panel of boot of my daughters Fiat 500, this will reduce the annoyance!

Nice deal, but I have kids who manage to remove interior trim…

Much more expensive and time consuming option. We're on a deals site here, keep it cost effective

Thought I was told shouldn't use metal tools on plastic trim - too easy to cause damage?
    SuffolkLad222's avatar
Same here. Never use metal on metal.

Never have one when I actually need it, definitely ordering one so it's ready for the next time!

Select 'other' sellers 'Amazon' and it's available for £2.42 to any address: amazon.co.uk/gp/…h=1 (edited)

Nice one, had a plastic set for years for removing bits on cars, happy to pay that for a metal one

Didn’t know this tool existed, ordered, thanks. I usually use a screwdriver and inevitably end up snapping the fastener.

For some reason it said it could not deliver to my Address (Nottingham) but it did here for the same price: amazon.co.uk/gp/…274

Make sure you select the other sellers where it shows £2.42

Bought a plastic version of this tool for exactly this purpose. It didn't break while I was using it, it arrived in 2 pieces so the postal service had already broken it. The above comment about weeding was useful though. We've got a metal forked tongue weeding tool already that I hadn't thought of using for trim. Perfect. Oh and, obviously keep a box of spare trim clips as the old clip can be out of shape no matter how you remove it.
