For any Irish users here, it's €1, €3, and €5. I'm assuming it'll be the same on other Euro stores.

I've never had PS+ but am planning on getting a ps5 later this year. Does anyone know if I take this and claim the free games (whatever they are) and then let it lapse whether I'll still 'own' them when I get a ps5 and resubscribe?
Yes, you need to claim the free games and add them to library. Once your PS+ expires the games will be locked but you can play them again if you resubscribe.
Don't forget to cancel the subscription otherwise you will be charged the full amount after the month ends

I think that’s showing the premium option, it shows £5 then £3 then £1 with £5 coming up first - For you guys that are signing up and have a PS5 you need to be aware that you have access to the PS5 games collection which is the below 19 games, so add these to your library and you can play them forever as long as you're a subscriber.
This collection is getting removed on the 9th May 2023 so act now and add to your library.

Discount on upgrading to extra or premium from essential might also be possible. This is probably only for users nearing the end of their subscription. Hardly worth it unless you can stack ie buy more essential and upgrade. Unfortunately can’t guarantee the option to upgrade will still be discounted after doing this. It would be roughly £72 for 1yr extra and £82 for premium if possible

Might need to buy if PS Turkey doesn't sort for PS4 users!- Receiving some shocking customer service from PlayStation at the moment . Subscription was coming to an end and received an email offering 25% my next year, click on link and it’s full price. Contacted support on Wednesday and they say I have to wait a week for team to look into it, at which point offer would have expired, and in the time being without Psn. Why can’t they just fulfill what they offer 😡

I’m going to buy the premium, £5 for the month and you can game trial TLOU and others for a few hours- Great deal. I had ps now for two years and it was really good particularly for finding hidden gems. Decided not to renew last year as there were loads of games not on the service I wanted to play so happily been working through them.
Decided to go for 1 month of extra and going to try and platinum Horizon Forbidden West and Outer Wilds. Hope to also get the online trophies for Wildlands as well. 
Not even if it's free but it's a good deal for those that are looking for it.

I have one game that I play online so £80/y isn’t close to worthwhile. And of the free monthly games I’ve had maybe two or three in the last few years that I’ve actually played (a few I already owned too).The Essential tier is £50 a year that will let you play online, you can get this cheaper by purchasing top-up cards from places like Shopto or CDkeys and then buying the sub from the Sony Store. - So I guess the Essentials teir is good if you only wanted online access, grab the monthly games and have access to your previously redeemed games, but for an extra £2 for the Extra option, you get to download and try out a few games (but not streamed)?
Also, was anyone else tried logging in but encountered authentication errors, effectively forcing you to reset your password?If you plan on subbing for 13 months I would recommend the Extra tier there are loads of top games in that. You can get the Extra tier for £84 a year by buying topups from shopto.
I'm subbed to Premium until September 2024, I'm not sure I've used any premium benefits so I wish I was only on Extra.
No issues logging in but I'm always logged in once setup. 
these ps ties are so confusing!Not at allPS+ Essential(same as old PS+) that gives you online multiplayer and monthly games.PS+ Extra adds a huge selection of games you can play.
PS+ Premium all of the above but let's you stream some games and gives you access to some older PS1 and PS2 games.
In my opinion Extra is the one to go with if you want a huge catalogue of games and not fussed about streaming. (edited)- only the £1 for a month of plus has ended - the other subscriptions have been extended until the 09th if you want extra or premium subscription added.
Where are you seeing this? Mine are saying full price babe
