On their own these are pretty flimsy panels. When you fit them all together they gain more rigidity. Taken the weight of an 80kg person on top without buckling and collapsing. That being said there is no getting away from the fact that it is relatively thin plastic. It's actually remained watertight so far this year.

What I would advise people though is that Keter's aftercare are shocking. I brought a shed that was delivered in an extremely poor fashion (boxes open, bits hanging out). When it went up there was some gaps where there shouldn't be despite having a good level concrete base. I've spent a year going to and fro with the customer service. All I wanted was an engineer to look at the pictures and see if they could identify what could be the cause. Unfortunately, I've been advised there is no engineers in the Company. The aftercare have said that they'll replace parts free-of-charge that I think need replacing but they are relying on the fact that I guess the correct components. The thing is I don't want to be stripping the shed down every other week and rebuilding on the hope that the bit that they've sent through corrects the issue!

This is the polar opposite of what I expected from Keter after-sales.

Keter is rubbish quality compared to what they were. I can testify from my shed I purchased 10 years ago and compare to the one purchased last year. Plastic is thin and flimsy on the newer one. Wouldn't recommend.

Looking for a good place to keep the cushions from the outdoor sofa dry and mould free, not sure if I trust this sitting on the ground if anyone has any good solutions to this I’m all ears

I bought one of these for the patio table cushions last spring and sitting directly on a concrete slab. Kept them dry all summer and, although I meant to put it inside the garage over winter I forgot, but was pleasantly surprised that there had been no water ingress and the cushions were still dry and mould free when I checked a couple of weeks ago. And that's without weighting the top down. Just be careful with assembly to make sure everything is properly clicked into place to give the box rigidity and to prevent any gaps.

Based on experiences, does anyone know if these are water tight, I.e., will rain get in?

Had two of these for a couple of years. They are watertight, no rain has got in mine. Best to place something on the lid to stop it blowing open and letting the rain in

    I have a ridiculous question/thought:
Has anyone seen these used as planters?

I know they're woefully inadequate for that but I'm thinking with a few modifications (internal reinforcing, drainage holes) they're far cheaper than equivalent sized plastic planters and still cheaper than my time required for building something that size from pallets.

The problem will be in my choice of plant: running bamboo (root strength)

I think the plastic would crack even with reinforcement, unless you had bracers literally all over. Might work if you only full soil half way, but if you fill the soil high I don't think it would.

These are rubbish, do not bother. I got some of the Keter Borneo (when they were half price) and they are so much better.

The height dimensions are bigger on the inside than they are on the outside like the Tardis

think they have just mixed up their H's with their D's. Swap round and it seems to stack up.

Will these take a hasp/latch for a padlock? Thinking of making a secure ish box for receiving deliveries

I have two of these in my garden. Both broken in first year. Buy cheap, buy twice applies here.

If you like plastic trash in your garden that's a pain to get rid of/contributing to landfill then go for it.
