    Can anyone recommend a top compact camera with decent zoom for everyday things. Mainly to shoot animals, wedding, beach and portrait

    Depends on your budget. Lumix tz 80 90 95 are good choices with 30x zooms and viewfinders. Starting from 249. But if you want quality the sony rx100 series compacts are great but pricier. I work for a camera shop hit me up if you want any info

    No. Because they have tiny sensors. Overheat shooting 4k continuously, have record limits etc

    Stick a phone vs a bigger sensor camera in a low light situation and a proper camera will trash the phone. (edited)

    Review:
    -entry level camera
    -plastic built
    -small sensor
    -no Hot-shoe, cold-shoe only(cannot attach extra flash light etc or anything that needs power
    +-video camera quality is similar to the one on expensive smartphones
    +good microphone
    +good quality video/photos
    +rotatable screen good for vlogging
    +small(better than mirrorless cameras as this in here lens is "foldable". in mirrorless cameras(sony A6000 lens protrudes a lot)

    If you want a compact for shooting photos on. Anything with a 1in sensor and larger post 2016 will do. I purchase a little canon power shot G9X MK1 for £200 on eBay the other day to compliment my Fuji xt2. Grate little camera! (edited)

    Yes you can by downloading imaging edge webcam software by Sony. Bit overkill in my opinion as logitech c920 webcam I bought for £45 on Amazon sale is really sharp for work calls. It usually costs around £80 though. However much cheaper than Sony vlog camera.
