good price if you need it now. Hold on a couple of months for the Prime Day deals, and it will be this price WITH the sync module.
    Hopefulgirl123's avatar
But this comes with the sync module?

Can this be used without subscription
    ikomu's avatar

I can;t seem to select click and collect for this, the checkout process just defaults to home delivery. Can anyone advise what I've done wrong?
    bankland's avatar
I tried but although it said click and collect it’s home delivery only for me.
    Quidco worked too.

Just got this installed last week, (wired) very disappointed with image quality.. poor daytime and can make almost nothing out at night..pretty shocked to be honest..have support notified but still not heard back from them after granting them access to my account. not great...although thinking of taking it down and ebaying it to get some of the funds back..mine came with the sync 2 module..another issue is the blink does not ring in the app and have seen people mention you need to buy an alexa speaker for that which is another added expense .Did not realise they now charge for recording, seen a few posts saying this..i thought you could buy a usb stick and plug into sync module to get free records?

Certainly the doorbell you can record for free - I'm doing that right now.

Only things you can't do for free are:

    - have it automatically save a live view video (you have to click save instead)
    - select and delete multiple saved clips at once (you have to swipe to delete each one in turn)
    - have it automatically capture and save a photo every hour

I got one of these during black Friday with an Echo Show 5. The main reason I got it was due to that deal so I can automate the live feed onto the echo. The problem I have is that you can only watch the live feed from one device at a time, so when I try to watch the feed when I am out, it comes up with system is busy.

This is also the case when two people try to access the feed on different devices, it will show 'system is busy' on one of the devices...

Only paid £55 with sync module and echo dot from amazon. Keep an eye out for bundle deals.
Glad I didn't pay a lot, because the lag between the door ring and app loading is woefully slow.
I think I've managed once to talk to the postie. (edited)

Looks like currys have got it for £58, have just ordered one for collection. Will be double checking it's the sync module 2 though before opening. currys.co.uk/pro…tml as when looking it seems to have gone up again at very and amazon. (edited)

Picked it up this afternoon and it came with the sync module too so currys is the place at this moment in time (edited)

You have to pay a subscription now for camera, so might be the same for this
    kiara99's avatar
No subscription as it’s recorded to a usb stick in the sync module

works well for me , good system with subscription free recording

how do you wire this in?
    justabout72's avatar
To your existing door bell wires

doorbell seems good enough, very handy to see when you miss someone at the door because you weren't in.

I've not managed to the wiring to work for the house doorbell chime because I dont seem to have the standard 2 wires coming out of the front where the doorbell goes, instead there seems to be a Cat5 cable with its inner wires so I dont know how to do it as I can't seem to find the instructions to help me with that.

What's the battery life, like on this?
    martaluscious's avatar
It was week on mine. Than after a month they sent me replacement. Replacement is faulty as it misses more than 50% movements, doesn’t respond to bell press at all and backup fails every single day. So I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
  13. FORZA4KHDR_'s avatar
For some reason it's not giving me the option to click and collect? Trying to order via mobile
  14. R1992's avatar
Maybe a daft Q, but do you need wifi/broadband for this? Or can it be used almost like a dash cam as in record footage etc..
    Wiseguyme's avatar
Wifi is needed to use this
  15. Bluediamond28's avatar
where is the option for the sync module @ £51.49?
  16. German_'s avatar
Never used Very...do you recommend it?
  17. georgeb's avatar
Sounds good. So i can buy this with sync module and use wirelessly. Presume when someone rings it will ring through amazon alexa devices in household? So kitchen bedroom wherever you have one?? Anyone know if it would work with alexa enabled sonos speakers??
    RJO's avatar
You are right about it ringing any Alexa speaker.

can’t help with regarding the sonos speaker though I’m afraid.
  18. Kerienn's avatar
I guess this has no wired internet option? I am in the hunt for a camera that has good video and microphone quality, can record 24/7 on an SD card and can be wired to the existing door bell and to the router so WiFi jammers will have no effect on it. (edited)

Assume this only works if someone presses the doorbell; which Amazon delivery drivers never do.

Heard nothing from Very, so logged in and checked and found my order had been "declined". Anyone else in the same boat?
