Thanks OP. When they have their 72 plug plants or more deals they are worth risking. You need to delicately put them in seed trays immediately and keep in a greenhouse or conservatory.
Even with careful watering and nurturing expect to lose a third of them.
The ones that do survive, I must admit do eventually and when transferred to the garden, they put on a good show.. So each year I still end up buying from them.

Just to counter the "they always arrive dead" argument. The ones I received last year all grew and performed, the delphiniums, aquiligea, Achillea, doronicum and geums have all survived the winter and are re-growing.

Mine were absolutely appalling when I got one of these deals. They arrived more like dead weeds and were hopeless. Eventually got a refund

Ive had loads of refunds and replacements from these, evri is their chosen courier so the plants are doomed before they are even despatched, evri had one of my live plant deliveries for over a week before I got it....

I received part of my order last week they had posted them on the 5th so 11 days to deliver . When they finally turned up they were all dead so I phoned them and they said they would send more out. See if they arrive alive this time.

Wouldn't bother. Mine came last year and most were dead or wanting it to be all over. Very poor.

If I was after cottage garden flowers, I think I'd do them from seed. They germinate easily and if you can look after the plugs, then you can look after the seeds.

I've had lavender plant plugs from T&M in the past, I bought a pack of 24 last year and every one was successful. They are now bushy plants that would probably cost £6-7 each in a garden centre. I think it depends on the courier. If there is a delay they can dry out and wither quickly and you should definitely complain if that is the case. Whereas if they arrive alive, it is really down to potting them on quickly and taking care of them.

Always worth documenting and complaining about dead plants even after a week; they have refunded me a fair amount over the years.

It can be hit or miss with plugs - seeds are always decent. Good deal for £9 IMO

they are always dead by the time you get them! (and I've never had a refund). Waste of money

Honestly don’t. They arrive dead or dying. And tiny. So if there’re any life left in them they are too small to resuscitate! Get £9 of seeds from the garden centre instead.
