True darkness brings the light.
LG OLED pixels light up independently with no backlight to dull their glow. Now, dark areas are perfectly black with no light bleed or halo effect. Envision a crisp picture with unmatched depth

Beauty meets brains.
The brains behind the beauty. Following deep learning advancements, LG's α7 Gen 5 AI Processor uses Foreground and Background Enhancing to maximise the field of depth for outstandingly lifelike image quality.

Dazzling darks, luminous lights.
With no backlight to dull their impact,self-lit pixels achieve the deepest blacks for crisp contrast in every light. Visuals are more defined, so you can make out subtle details your eyes usually miss.

Hear them coming in on you.
The α7 Gen 5 AI Processor up-mixes 2-channel audio into virtual 5.1.2 channel sound. Feel the action and chaos around you as you venture deeper into your game world.

That offer also has 5 year D and G insurance. So seems a better deal.

Is it easy to set up I just want to watch in freeview hd and you tube etc I’m not a gamer I’ve watched the Telly Dan review on YouTube on the A1 and picture looks fab on that he switched the eco setting off and energy saving off etc and picture was much brighter

60Hz and 3x HDMI 2.0 ports. Includes eArc.

Also I can’t see any other TV beating this for picture quality at this price point. (edited)

I like the stand on this model more than the other types on different models so wondering whether to go for this or if we'll see a better 48" LG model come down to around the £600 level as I read some concerns about the brightness of this A2 model.

That said, it will be replacing a 2011 HD Panasonic so probably anything we get will look vastly better.

brightness is not an issue unless you like bright led cartoon pictures which some do. I run my cs and c2 on 60% brightness

This is an a2 model, does anyone know if there is a huge difference between the a2,b2 and c2 models?
    Deal_HUNT3R's avatar
Yes C2 will be much BRIGHTER... and faster UI, better up scaling, better speakers, 120hz etc.

It’s amazing how much oled TVs have come down , remember the first oled it was about £3000(lol)

I paid £1800 for mine 6 years ago ashmac, and it's been worth every penny. I'd happily pay another £1800 for my TV again tomorrow. (Last 3D OLED.)

Had this 2 weeks now, from PRC.
It's a great TV for the price.

Decided to put this in the bedroom and picked up the 55" for £750.

The C1 has much better build quality but in terms of picture & sound I can't see much difference.

Oh, and TCB tracked at £15.58. (edited)

Tbh with you mate I'm a little out of touch with TVs as I use a 4K projector but thought it looked like a deal worth posting

just bought it ? I saw the Peter Tyson ebay store have sold out was 20 quid cheaper there but very happy with this TV than others from Hisense or TCL , proper Oled from the company that makes the screens for other companies ... I have the A1 48 inch previous model .. glad I took the plunge ..

Is anyone tempted to have one of these as a monitor? Of course there's the chance of burn-in, but as prices are getting so low, might be worth the risk?
