Great quality Tri-Ply stainless pan. I've been using the larger version for a year, excellent quality and very heavy.

Make sure you apply the voucher

Info added by

  • Tri-ply construction: 18/8 stainless-steel interior won’t react with food; pure aluminium core retains and evenly distributes heat; polished stainless-steel exterior provides strength and beauty; consists of 70% stainless steel and 30% aluminium
  • Sturdy handle: generous cast stainless-steel handle offers a secure, comfortable, heat-resistant hold and comes permanently secured with rivets for reliable strength
  • Versatile: wide, flat-bottomed profile works well for frying, searing, sautéing, and browning; low sides allow for sliding food easily from the pan to a plate
  • Use and care and warranty: suitable for all cookers, including induction; oven-safe up to 260 degrees C; dishwasher-safe for quick cleanup

Prefer cast-iron than stainless steel ones. Cast-iron is not everyone's cup of tea but once you get used to it then it will last you life time. (edited)

Stainless pans are really nice to make curries in. Most of my cooking is done in cast iron, but I cook tomato based dishes and curries in stainless

Most steel item required liquid to cook like oil or water. Otherwise it will stick.

I don't see the place for a stainless steel frying pan. Wouldn't enamelled cast iron, seasoned cast iron or seasoned steel be preferable in all situations? When would you chose to use a stainless steel frying pan?

Stainless is lightweight. I injured my wrist in the gym a few years back and it made using cast iron somewhat troublesome.

Definitely has a place, great for cooking veggies as you can toss them.

Heat OP! Key to cooking with these is heat! It won’t stick if you’ve got it hot enough, food needs to hiss a little

this is 304 stainless steel and not 316 grade so not ideal.

Depends, if you’re concerned about nickel content leaching then 304 is probably better as there’s generally less, I would just avoid cooking acidic sauces in one of these, like tomato based ones. (edited)

Non stick pans are toxic. This pan seems like a great deal! Thank you for

Surprisingly quality is almost same as branded one. Last one I bought was big pot for around £26. I am very pleased with quality.

There's stainless steel versus other types video shared on the expired pan set thread today (hotukdeals.com/dea…25).

And then I came across this how-to guide for cooking without sticking:

I have this set, it's really good but the large pan is HUGE, as are the handles.

Thanks OP. Non stick pans never last and will eventually be scratched, also potential health concerns depending on quality of the non stick material.
I think I prefer this old fashion stainless steel

Yes it will be, but if you cook with oil then most likely you will need a hand scrub.
