sorted byThe Beach House, The Glass house, The emporium & Indian restaurant are all extra money, Some vary to cheap - expensive. The paid restaurants are better pre book on my holidays @ P&O so you don't miss out like I did on the last day as they were fully booked in the The Beach House Everything you buy onboard is charged to your room, which is charged to your card when you checked in. We thought we would have more time in Amsterdam though as P&O told us we would arrive at midday the next day but, we set sail for 5pm in the afternoon and didn't arrive at the port until 5pm the following day but got delayed for an extra hour and half because of another ship which wasn't their fault. We left the following day after that at midnight. So we got a night and a full day in Amsterdam. Then we had a full day on the ship and you will go to sleep and arrive in Southampton in the morning after. At around 8am. Don't worry you get breakfast in the morning before you disembark.
I would say the ship is getting a bit tired here and there, but it's a very elegant and nice looking ship overall and you won't be disappointed at all.
I also checked that they are giving Ventura a refurbishment end of 2023/2024.
Before we travelled though they did confirm with us there is a noravirus outbreak so bear that in mind, we sanitised a lot, but might be gone by the time this was departs.
Anything else you need to know let me know.
Also to add if you want to save money don't buy the excursions onboard always look elsewhere first, as i got the canal cruise for €9.99 each on Groupon.nl and many other deals on there too. Unfortunately I can't find that deal any longer. PayPal also accepted. You can also check out Socialdeal.nl . May need a VPN connected to the Netherlands and then just translate Groupon to English.
*Also to add the ship docks right in Amsterdam, 15 mins walk to Amsterdam, not far at all so no extra cost there.* Everything is flat, Amsterdam is well known to be flat, no hills. Bear in mind it's a big place and lots to do. (edited)
also, how did you get to Southampton, did you drive and park somewhere, if so where ? (edited)
I've posted the (approximate) prices of P&O drinks on a number of other deals but, in summary, beer is about a fiver a pint, cocktails start at £6.95 and spirits with a mixer are about £6 - £6.50.
Bottles of wine in the restaurant start at about £19. (edited)
Bear in mind it's just somewhere to sleep you are not staying the cabin all day you won't even see it much at all. Too much to do.

However, there are remarkable similarities in the way they treat overseas staff.

I went in July and some days were really warm, while others were rainy. Most evenings were cool but had great views.
Yes, some days were gloomy
While others were lovely.
Just back from it, after a norovirus outbreak onboard, which may have been caused by the poor hygiene, especially the numerous w.c blocked or out of order.
Old, dated and rocky ship
Norovirus occurs regularly on all ships - almost always brought on by passengers and caused by the poor hygiene of some of them. Spreads like wildfire, onboard and ashore. Covid is also still an issue on cruise ships.

I envy you folk who live around the Southampton area: if I did I’m sure I’d end up going on a fair few of these discounted cruise deals that seem to crop up quite frequently..
Something nice and relaxing about just watching the World go by, as the waves lash by. Guess it's why old people like sitting in deckchairs at the beach!
This is great deal
Am I the only one that thinks a cruise is where you go from one country to another, to another?
If you're in a car, are you not driving? On a plane, you're flying? On a boat, you're cruisin'.
