I love most dark beers but this is very sweet - nothing like a traditional stout (Guinness etc), more like drinking toffee syrup. It's the kind of beer I'd enjoy the odd can of at Christmas, but wouldn't want 12 cans to drink at this time of year. (edited)

Just need some more beer offers to go with the two & then I can take the order to over £25. Even offering 2 purchases per case would be better. I’ve tried this Stout a few times & it’s lovely. Heat

Got this in the advent calendar and it was disgusting. Straight in the sink

I like a good stout ...... And I don't mind IPA with a flavour but stout with anything other than coffee is a no from me (edited)

Perfect to pair with £7.99 Hazy Jane deal to make it easier to reach £25+ delivery requirement

Staffordshire ales deal (no limit) is also ok for those that want a full booze basket (edited)

They now use DPD, not Evri, so at least there's some chance of it turning up.
    Mark43's avatar
I have zero problems with Evri, they always deliver fine for me. Personally I'd rather they stuck with Evri and the £20 min for delivery.

If you like coffee and you like stout you'll like this, if you don't it could be a challenge.
Personally I do and combined with alcohol I'm in.
Like others have said combined with the hazy jane and britvic fiery ginger ale with a cheap scotch chaser and life's all
    Stephen_Rowbottom's avatar
Ha! That's exactly what I added to my basket

    Surely 3960ml not 11880ml

Thanks now corrected, looks like DD copied their 48 can deal description

Where are they likely to change it to more than 1 per customer ?

I think DD will keep beer deal totals around the £15 mark so they can sell other products.

£29.99+ beer deals mean selling nothing else and 1 deal is too low with the danger of selling nothing.
Finding £15-17 worth of other stuff puts off potential sales as I and others have done leaving Hazy Jane unchecked out

£15-17 of 2 beer deals is an acceptable middle ground as the bulk of the basket isn't filler (edited)

Ordered this and the Hazy Jane, ginger cake and chocolate biscuits. Oh and some dog treats just so I don't look selfish! Thanks op, had the Hazy Jane in my basket yesterday but couldn't find enough of interest to get me to the £25.

YW. Same, might checkout updated basket now

Who knew that I'd be ordering 100 slush puppie ice pops and 32 nature valley bars to get some cheap BD.
  14. John_Leyland's avatar
Thanks for posting! Got this, hazy Jane, 3 Staffordshire Beers and some misshapen biscuits!

I know it's trendy to hate on Brewdog. But this stuff is nice. Love a good toffee/chocolatey/caramelly/coffee stouts and this stuff is nice.

I reckon those that hating on it haven't even tried it, as some weirdos think it's cool to hate on Brewdog for some reason lol.

I went for a random bottle of plonk, staffy beers and the hazy Jane's...alcoholic moi?! I actually trust myself more with a cupboard of booze as opposed to 52 twix bars or the like lol! (edited)

Mamma Mia just ordered yesterday for the hazy Jane and missed this

    Vile stuff...

Limiting it to one per customer doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe they think people might be profiteering if they buy multiples but I would have thought they would just want the sale.
    3LeggedDog's avatar
because its a loss leader - they want you to buy their other items which make more profit
  21. BulldogNo1's avatar
Added a few of the Geeta's Spice & Stir Rogan Josh Medium Sauce Jars to top up the order!
  22. iainsansom's avatar
Sounds revolting... also still would never give that brewery a penny

I had no idea you disliked brewdog Ian. None whatsoever, apart from every post you ever made on this website slags them
  23. TristanDeCoonha's avatar
    The website sucks.
If you refuse their demand for cookies and tracking then they dump you onto a google search page. There is no warning that they have such an unfriendly attitude.
Why offer the option to reject?

Great deal and great site. Definitely had them hazy Jane on and then a few treats for a amazing deal

There are some weird Corona cans that I went for. Will be good as portable bevvys
  27. Bobster-cyw's avatar
I went to get this plus the hazy Jane but misread. I thought the £25 was just to qualify for free delivery but it’s a £25 minimum order and there’s nothing else I’ve spotted I want to add …… need more booze !

Min alcohol pricing in Scotland would be £13.86. So nice for those North of the wall. Ideal for celebrating some of the local news.
