    I didn’t receive a despatch email. Checked account and while top banner says waiting despatch, under the game cover icon it says shipped. Postie just delivered it now. Looks like a glitch in the matrix and hopefully everyone else’s will turn up today

    I think it's just the sheer quantity of orders they'll be dispatching tbh. Never had any issues with them before so I'm not worried at all anymore

    Edit: saw another twitter reply from them earlier stating that everything is leaving today, the system is just processing thousands of dispatch emails (edited)

    They had a big backlash on Cyberpunk’s release and another game (possibly Last of Us Part 2) and another recently where a huge portion of orders weren’t received until the day after or some 3 days after release. I swear I remember reading for big releases in the future they would use DPD or another courier to avoid delays…never once happened since. I’ve been buying from TGC since 2007 and they’ve been amazing, but the fact they got a rollicking for breaking street embargo once means they’ve now fallen behind on store like ShopTo and even Smyths for guaranteeing delivery on release day to their customers. I feel like they’ll just blame RM if peoples orders don’t arrive tomorrow and the fact that there was a shipping embargo; but to me that’s not a good enough excuse and you can’t hide behind Royal Mail. Either that or they’ll be issuing a lot of ‘compensation’ credits tomorrow from a lot of angry customers. If I didn’t have £40+’s worth of points from various purchases this year (before any of their extra £10 promos) then I would have just gone and collected from Argos, Tesco or anywhere tomorrow morning (edited)

    Mines showing as shipped now at the bottom when I check the order info but preparing for dispatch at the top. Everything I've ordered from TGC (including Jedi Survivor) turned up the next day when it was like that. Fingers crossed it'll turn up tomorrow 🙏

    Had my Amiibo delivered but no game. It did arrive in a rather large box so I'm hoping that there is a second delivery today with just the normal post. Otherwise, I'm going out and buying it at Argos and I'll refund the TGC order.

    I see this deal said it was originally £48. I pre-ordered it way back (at £49.95) from here, has it actually been at £48 (or perhaps lower)? Because the pre-order page states "Pre-Order Price Promise - If the price drops before release, we'll refund the difference." but as far as I know I've never actually been refunded any difference ever despite pre-ordering many items early over the years.

    Is this an actual thing? Or is there some gotcha like you have to email them with proof of a lower price or something? (edited)
