Heat added but please bare in mind if this games gets dlc, and you want it, you'll need to buy it from the Japanese eshop as well. I had a nightmare as I bought Fire Emblem Three Houses in Japan and ended up needing to buying Yen eShop cards from play asia to buy the DLC as the one available in the UK eshop did not work with the Japanese version.

You will be able to play the game in English just switch back to UK Eshop to download the title.

You can login to the Amazon.jp site using your UK account, if you have a fee free card then you can normally purchase most things, without paying transaction fees etc... The only thing I've been unable to purchase is Japanese eShop cards, even with a Japanese address. I can purchase games, controllers, pc engine minis etc.. and have these shipped to UK but eShop digital cards I cannot purchase. Would be interested to know if people are successful purchasing this.

I could purchase Metroid Prime Remaster Digital code from Amazon Japan with no problem by just setting my default address to somewhere in Japan.

I just got it for £42 from the UK store.

Admittedly, I had to spend £84 on the 2 game voucher offer, but as I also want Pikmin 4, it made it the cheapest way to get both digitally.

Potential to save even more if you can get a good deal on prepaid store cards, then convert that credit into the vouchers.

You do need to be a plus member to get the offer though, but if you are, it's a good way to get it without too much faff. (edited)

Ordered this and my new Amazon account was suspended (I think) because I didn't enter the correct billing address. Does anyone have any idea if I'll have to make the order again when it gets unsuspended or will the payment go through automatically?
I want to start downloading this asap but know that it's not refundable so I don't want to risk ordering another

You need to put the correct billing address in. If your Amazon JP account has been suspended then I think you'd need to create another one and reorder. Just check nothing has been taken from your bank from the first order.

I did this last night and it took just under an hour before it went through and I could download the game. And what a game it is

The SwitchUp YouTube channel has them promoted in their videos with a link, 10% off, which is the cheapest legit way of doing it

This doesn't seem worth it. Just get it physical and then sell it, much cheaper at the end of the day than a £40+ digital copy which is worth nothing at the end of the day.

You need to change region to Japan in your Nintendo online account setting in order to redeem the code. Once redeemed the game will download to your switch and you can change the region back to UK
