Product Information
  • Features a high Dutch barn-styled roof and gable
  • Wide double doors and storm-resistant side window
  • Comes with roof felt, a fixing kit and instructions

The 7 x 7ft Shire Wooden Shed features a high Dutch barn-styled roof and gable which makes this a wonderfully distinctive garden building. The stylish roof shape gives considerably more headroom and allows the possibility of storage in the roof space. The wide double doors ensure easy access into the building and the large opening storm-resistant side window lets in plenty of light. The cladding is 12mm slow-grown, very high-grade FSC-approved pine on sturdy 34mm square framing. It comes complete with roof felt, a fixing kit and assembly instructions. Finished with a honey brown basecoat preservative treatment ready for your own top coating immediately on installation, this could be paint or stain. The dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy).

Nice price but when comparing to similar looking remember to check the thickness of the shiplap, this one is the cheaper 12mm thickness you see on the majority lower end sheds. Personally I’d be looking for at least 15mm.

Heat added though as you’d never get one at 15mm thick for this price.

Just for comparison. I bought the Duramax plastic shed. Seen on here, it was a nightmare to build. Seems very flimsy while constructing. Took two professionals 5 hours to build. They did not stop. Once erected it's 100% waterproof. It was on a completely flat base. Put the floor down myself, using osb board. I'm very happy with it
Been up for a year now. No problems at all.

That looks great. I prefer this to the plastic sheds which never seems fully watertight. Good price too.

My plastic shed doesn't leak as such, but does suffer with condensation in the cooler months due to the metals bars connecting the roof panels.

This would make a nice man cave with insulation and boards.

Chuck a couple of wheels on it, call it a shepherds hut and charge £150 a night. Pays for itself.

Yes, but it's not Shed prices; it's wood prices. I built my own, about the same size as this and sourced the most reasonable shiplap I could find - although I prefer to build myself, it wasn't much cheaper; although I used OSB for the ceiling (I suspect this will be cheaper chipboard)

I also built my van racking out of Plywood, and the price for that was eyewatering!
