This is a bit of an unpopular opinion but the Aldi hanging egg chair is totally overrated. It’s not comfortable at all due to its shape. It does look nice though and is a bit of a talking point but that’s about it.
I think at £160 you should try it before you buy, I wish I did.

call Aldi on 0800 042 0800 and ask for the difference back. People have mentioned previously they have refunded the difference for specialbuys if bought recently and price dropped.

I bought the Siena egg chair from b&m last year and I must say its very comfortable. Currently £200, but it was discounted to £80 last autumn when I purchased it.

Aldi one looks a bit naff in comparison.

Aldi use yodel for delivery, had a really bad experience with them. Courier left the package outside someone else's house on the other end of the road with no explanation. Has to track it down based on the photo which didn't show the door number, so I walked around for half an hour comparing door mats. The customer service on both sides were unacceptable, both said that as far as theyre aware the GPS showed it was delivered within the right 'radius' and that there was a photo! Lost two hours to this and ended up locking myself out of my home! Just saying, beware of Yodel lol...

Call me a cynic, but these seem to be just the normal prices.
The real sale prices will come in the late summer/autumn when they're clearing unsold stock.
Any discounts indicated now, probably based on pre-order prices hidden away online through the early spring when nobody was looking for garden furniture and they didn't actually have the stock.
Items are only just being delivered now, so it's the normal prices.
Calling it a sale is just clever marketing.
If you want a bargain, wait for the clearance.

My egg chair came today well pleased. Only criticism and I hope its a one off, they missed a hole in the steel tubing the mark is there you put two nuts and bolts in but only one hole is there. I had to drill a hole and then use a step drill bit to make it bigger for the bolts. The cover is nice touch and easil;y to put on if you are very short you may need some step ladders or a taller person to reach the top (edited)
