The last of your kind

In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you are the last Dragonborn – a mythical hero destined to slay the ancient dragons and save the world from destruction.

It's your own journey

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim allows you to live another life in another world. Create any character you can imagine by selecting from iconic races, such as Khajiit, Argonian, and Nord, among many others!

Aside from being able to look however you want, you'll also be able to customise combat to your style. Whether you pick up a shield and a sword or join the fight as a mage, Skyrim gives you plenty of choices and builds to choose from. Will you step away from being a stealth archer this time? Only time will tell.

Vast lands to explore

Skyrim is an expansive open-world game with endless possibilities. Visit cities like Windhelm and Falkreath, or venture off the beaten path to discover hidden caves and ruins. From the frigid tundra of the North to the sun-scorched lands of the South, explore all of Tamriel as you seek out new adventures!

Adventures await

Solve puzzles, retrieve forgotten treasures, or simply take in the stunning scenery. No two playthroughs will be the same!

Encounter new faces, join factions, and make important choices that shape your story. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an immersive and captivating game that will transport you to another realm. So what are you waiting for? Your adventure awaits!

skyrim is miles ahead of morrowind and oblivion. it benefits from being created like 10 years later.

Technically the 'Anniversary' edition would be the best way as it contains all of the Creation Club content on top of these DLCs, plus a few new extras, but there's no graphical difference between the the two as far as I'm aware.

I'm fairly certain that every single person on the planet has at least one version of Skyrim by this point. Hospitals are probably putting copies in the cribs with newborns.

Have never played but have seen the endless memes, good reviews and lots of footage. Purchased to be played after the 200 games in front of it.
