Only ever used to like Colman's french mustard but sadly they don't make it anymore for some strange reason. I really don't like the mind blowing heat of English. This is mild, creamy and great with hot dogs and doesn't make you want to drink a gallon of water afterwards. Definitely recommended for those who don't like hot mustard.

The "Deli" is also good, little bit milder but full of taste.

This (& Deli version) very similar to Scandi mustard or Senap as they call it in Sweden/Ikea.

    Lovely on Frankfurters (Parowki) (edited)

They usually have this and another variety which is also good (I think it is Russian style mustard) in the Polish food section of Asda. Price is usually 40p there.

A Pole could be offended. Poles are supposed to be very many types of mustard. I don't think the taste is from Russia, but maybe you know better...

Blame EU bureaucracy on no longer being able to buy Colman's.

'Colman's French Mustard is now unobtainable, since they stopped the line after 65 years, following an EU competition law ruling in 2001,after parent firm Unilever also acquired Amora Maille. It was told to sell the brand or stop making it'.

How it is work now with no competition on the food market? I bet all British made food products are much cheaper now. Cheese, milk, lamb, beef...everything is much cheaper than was with under bureaucracy regime

Sainsbury's had this at this price too in my local store (I bought a couple), but I have not looked online, so it may only be local.

Yeah, I like this stuff. The three peppers out four rating on the label had me fooled when I tried it because I thought I was buying a hot mustard, but this is good in a different way, works well in sandwiches and toasties etc.

Good mild mustard but possibly cheaper in your local polish shop.

You are spot on about the mental heat of English mustard. Similarly, some horseradish sauce can be brutal. I’m surprised it’s not used more on unruly crowd control.
CS gas is nasty, trust me - from my training, years ago, but a over filled horseradish & beef sandwich would poleaxe a rage filled thug. The trick would be to try and persuade him/her to eat one before the routine throwing of rocks and damage commenced.

Was £65? I know prices have gone up but that’s just ridiculous.

Only just tried this for the first time last week. Really liked it. I'll buy a few extra while they're on offer

This is a screenshot from the companies website.

I didn't mention it to start a debate about it being offensive to anyone. It's just a type of mustard that this company produces and it is often sold in asda's Polish food section.

I buy it sometimes, I like it. Nobody here needed a Wikipedia article to explain about mustard.
