100 Hz, 1ms, FreeSync, 3440x1440, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB HubThe CU34G2 provides an incredible gaming experience with its WQHD resolution. Enjoy your games on this large 34" curved monitor to make them look even more detailed and captivating. Thanks to its incredibly low 1ms response time, FreeSync and 100 Hz refresh rate it is also suited for fast-paced games.

ULTRA-WIDE
The term Ultrawide refers to the screen aspect ratio of a monitor. With more space at your disposal, your field of view gets greatly increased.

4137347_1.jpg
100HZ REFRESH RATE
Equip yourself with twice the frame rate of other monitors and say goodbye to image stuttering and blurry motion. With a 100Hz refresh rate every frame is rendered sharply and in smooth succession, so you can line up your shots accurately and appreciate high speed races in all their glory.

4137347_1.jpg
1MS MPRT / 4ms GTG RESPONSE TIME
A pixel response time of 1ms means speed without the smear for an enhanced experience. Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the effects of ghosting.

4137347_1.jpg
1500R CURVED
Curved design wraps around you putting you at the center of the action and provides an immersive gaming experience.

4137347_1.jpg
FREESYNC
The AMD FreeSync Technology ensures that the GPU’s and monitor’s refresh rates are synchronised, which provides a smooth, tear free gaming experience. You will appreciate the low input lag if you’re looking for the best quality visuals in fast paced games.

MINIMAL BEZEL DISTRACTION FOR THE ULTIMATE BATTLE STATION
Expand your view with multiple monitor set-up. The narrow border and frameless design offer the minimal bezel distraction for the ultimate battle station.

HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE STAND
Raise or lower the screen to suit each individual’s height and seating preferences. The easy-to-adjust stand ensures hours of comfort.

4137347_1.jpg
LOW INPUT LAG
Unleash your reflexes by switching to the AOC Low Input Lag mode. Forget graphical frills: this mode rewires the monitor in favour of raw response time, giving the ultimate edge in hair trigger stand offs.

6 GAME MODES
Tailor your display to the game with a click of a button. Switch settings between in-built presets for FPS, racing, or RTS games, or customise your own ideal conditions and save them. The AOC Settings KeyPad makes switching profiles or adjusting features quick and easy

Might be worth noting that those amazon reviews are for other AOC monitors, not this one.

If you go to "See all reviews" near the bottom of the page.
Then the tab that says "All formats", you can select the specific model you want to see reviews from.

Noticed this had dropped to £269 late last night with 2 in stock. Spoke to Amazon on chat and got the difference refunded 👌

Had the X version for around two years, it's been great - recommend looking for some recommended settings online.

    Is this one good?

For £300, absolutely, it's an excellent monitor! Is there better? Of course, but not so much for the same price.

It all depends on what you define as 'good'. This is an excellent monitor for the average user on a budget without spending £1000+ for a high spec monitor

Is the difference between the 100 - 144hz noticeable at all?

With much higher specs becoming more affordable, I went for the 144hz for the extra £43 at Currys, more future-proof and dependant on your computer and its capabilities. (edited)
