    I wouldn't get too excited, inflation is still going up & with the US (Ukrain) v Russia war likely to worsen supply chains will again be affected in the long term.

    I ordered 100 to be delivered last year, I ended up taking about 70 back to store to replace. The good ones were good quality and value. Was a faff to have to take back and pick new ones though.

    I have old broken concrete at the back of the house and looking to get decking. What would be the best way? Get rid of the all concrete and then build some kind of frame for the decking?

    Stick to the concrete!, Decking is a real pain. Pressure washing, Oiling every year and then replacing after 10 years or so.

    I recently bought a few dozen of these from Wickes. I would 100% reccomend buying them in shop and hand picking them.

    Over half of them are either bent, half rotting, big holes in the top surface, several mm too short or long, or generally manky. I ended up having to travel to multiple Wickes near me to get enough good condition ones to finish the job. I'm not overly picky and being dramatic - a good selection of them were truly bad and shouldn't be sold. The premium ones which are thicker and wider were similar.

    If they delivered them I would expect they wouldn't be anywhere near as picky and you'll end up with lots of usable ones which would be a faff to return as they will no doubt say it's just "minor cosmetic variations of a natural product".

    I'm going to be really stupid so bare with me....

    We had wooden decking in the garden which we ripped out last year
    It was rotting and it got so bad we even had holes developing

    Since then it's a mess outside with grass and shrubs coming through

    We have no DIY skills and just wanted to know will these work and make it look more pretty outside?

    What’s the frame look like? Is that rotten too? I had a similar situation where some boards were just crumbling. But I ripped it out and put a patio on instead.

    These aren't the best boards, but for this price it's good. I used some of these 4 years ago to make a small raised deck and it's been good so far.
