You could take this as a meal/snack replacement, and you may lose weight if your total calorie intake is reduced and less than calories burnt.
You may also take this to build muscle with the extra protein, but of course, you'd need to be weight training too.
From your 9kg purchase, I'm guessing you've tried the flavour before? How is it?
Sometimes they can be nice at first but after a while you get sick of them .
