I've had a few of these from work and they are magic
I bought a small adaptor to convert it to 4.5mm barrel and it does a great job of charging my dell laptop as well

Could this one be used to charge Mobile Phone without damaging or reducing the life time of Battery ??
I understand this is 65W while typical mobile phone charge is 25W ? Any opinion on this ?? More appreciated if there is a reference / link to expert opinion. Thanks.

Yes. 65w is the most the PSU will provide. The phone will consume what it needs. See here for expert article on Watts en.wikipedia.org/wik…att

It's the same logic that you can plug a kettle in the mains and it will use 2000w to boil the kettle. Yet you can plug a TV in to the same outlet and it will use 100w. (edited)

If you work in a corporate field which has similar laptops, then these are given out left right and centre.......

I might have one in every room of my house, mother's, sisters, friends
We have literally hundreds we throw away.

I noticed stuff like this is super cheap on CEX too - likely people selling stolen work stock.

As we all know. Lenovo (work) laptops are the worst things in the world. Can't speak to the gaming ones but the ones for home working one are absolutely awful.

having said that, the chargers are the best things in the world. Wonderful for Ipads, steam decks, Nintendo switches and any other USB-C gadget

I am even sure, if i was inclined towards the preference of men, I would also say that Macbooks also work well (edited)

Why? Love ThinkPad T, X and X1 series. They keep going, solid as a rock and best keyboards

Not many people at my work place realise they can use their dell laptop chargers to charge their Samsung work mobiles. Good charger at a good price

How is this different (as in preferable) to a smaller plug style charger which can supply 65w? Also, I'm not talking about brands or even the specific model, but using a charging brick (so to speak).

I agree. I have bought a 65W charger and it charges same speed as OEM. Moreover, it has extra USB-A port too. Its small and compact. These bricks become a pain when carrying in bags
