Be prepared to replace one of the parts after a year as they always fail and about £80 a CV month on electricity

Yep, I managed to get two years out of mine before it started leaking from the pump. I fixed mine with new seals and gasket sealer but if your not able to do this it's a throwaway item.
Also if you live down south these scale up very quickly so your need to add an antiscale agent (in addition to the chlorine, PH, antifoam etc).

Buy on amazon if you can.
Just had my £877 lay z spa hawaii hydrojet tub with 2 year warranty develop a leak at 1year11months and amazon just fully refunded me without needing to return. (edited)

Brilliant - they're under £300 in a few places now.

Thanks OP. I received their email flyer and googled this. Add blurb says up to 4 people, but it is a 6,foot circle, so 2 adults looks friendly. What worried me is to expect to get only between 1 and 2 years use,?

Plenty of other sellers are more money, so it does look like a bargain.

Where is best place to you buy the chlorine from? Is it better to keep it full, or empty down a drain and refill each time with hot water every time you want to use it?

Is there a solar power heater you can buy to keep it warm,?

Managed to get one in Halifax. There was one left. My St Lucia model developed a leak this week so perfect timing. This is bigger too.

People who say it eats electricity, it does if you leave it on all day, but in spring / summer it only needs putting on around 6-8 hours to maintain a temperature.

The heater in them will auto click off when it reaches the desired temp, but really you don't want it running over night as it will lose the most energy so really you want to click it on once there's a bit of temperature in the day (ie mid-late morning) unless you want to get it at the crack of dawn.

£7 yesterday and had this running all day and kids on Xbox tvs etc , if you run it just on weekends it’s hardly expensive

Just got mine from the Yeovil store about an hour ago (one of the last two), £137.99 using 2x £5 vouchers and 1x £2 voucher.
They had 6 available this morning but they've obviously been snapped up pretty quickly.

I got mine in the afternoon in stirling, scotland. Only 1 left apparently someone rang in the morning and reserved it, said he would be there for 2pm. I was there at 2.30 so they gave it to me. got for £138.

Anybody here managed to connect this to the app? I had no such luck.

Yes, works perfectly. Make sure you are connected to the 2.5 ghz wifi network in your home and not the 5ghz.

electric will cost more than the hot tub, which is 2 person at best....
with electric the way it is i bet hot tubs are sitting on the shlves and all over ebay
    smallstools's avatar
Mine costs £1:33 to fill to 38°C using the hot tap in the kitchen powered off the boiler, I use fresh water now everytime we use it (not on a meter) - costs less than a 1/4 pint of beer down the pub and much more fun!
  16. jsd74's avatar
Stuff it full of grub that can be cooked by the hot water and it's a deal
  17. barbituran's avatar
