They have the same sort of sails in B&Q for £12 with 20% off at the moment. Just replaced an old ikea one with these and is good quality. (edited)

Having just bought a vonhaus shade sail got to say not the best quality.
Quite thin material, eyelets on corners are integrated into material rather than having added material supporting them, also on my 3x3x3 one there is 1 side that is slightly longer than the other 2 so doesn’t hang great.

Serious question, how do you attach these to buildings/roofs etc. Is there a kit available?

Metal hooks that screw in to wood or a rawlplug in brick. That’s assuming you have them positioned just right in terms of providing good tension for the sail. Otherwise there are kits that come with springs to pull on the corners of the sail keeping it flat. (edited)

Interesting if you have places to hang it right?

Based off neighbors sail- also functions as an excellent rain collection system. Additionally, mentions water resistant but in terms of “sail”, we’ll definitely not wind resistant. Set sail any hope you have in that regard.

Would this be useful to act as awning for drying clothes in the winter?
