I don’t know why you would get these over the Kirkland set… Still hot though, it’s a good deal nonetheless.

Not a make I’ve ever heard of so I’m assuming the price reflects that

They’re quite well reviewed and known.

They've been cheaper at £125.68 when I bought them in Jan but still ridiculously good value for all three clubs at this price! I'm a high handicapper and have found these clubs very easy to use, the 60 degree being my favourite

The shafts were cheap and whippy I think was his thought. So not great for distance control which is the most important thing for wedges.

Agreed. Fine for a starter set. Yes, you can but better, but you have to pay quite a bit more... this looks fine for starting.

For this price I would get the Kirkland wedges from costco. A longer track record and wider consensus of being great wedges for the money.

Another thing to consider, I bought from callaway pre owned store last year and got 3 Callaway Mack Daddy CB wedges in “used - like new” or “used - very good” condition for about £60 each. All were pristine and I’d question if they had actually been hit (if so maybe a few balls on the range at most). They are also very forgiving as they are cavity back so better for high handicap players. Might be worth checking what wedges they have on offer if in the market for some. (edited)

Probably not the worst of the unknown sets on Amazon, but I would think carefully before forking out that sort of money on an unknown brand. Just bought a set of Cleveland RTX Zipcore's brand new for £220 on Ebay (did have Nippon NS pro Modum 120 stiff shafts - not for everyone). So for £85 more you get one of the best wedge manufacturers.

Being sold for £90 each on hot golf with various shafts/finishes and most lofts/bounces where in stock when I checked last week. 5% of that or 10% of 3 making the set just over £100 more than these. I know it's £85-105 more than these - but you have to weigh up these unknowns versus a top quality wedge with proven history.

You can pay the same money as here for a used set of top end wedges - just another option

Never heard of these and always skeptical of any YouTubers or reviewers reviewing these as you just never know.

decathlons inesis wedges are good have and have proper name shafts.

Not keen on package 52/56/60 sets though when most pw come in around 45 degrees these days or lower for more forgiving sets so you end up needing a gap gap wedge.

Weirdly this is a guy that Youtube likes to recommend to me in spite of the fact I don't really play golf. However something about their algo is spot on because I've ended up watching some of his videos and this is actually one I watched the other day. He's quite open about about the fact that this wasn't paid for content.

Rick Shiels did a good review on YouTube if you're tempted

The thing is Rick Shiels or any decent pro can hit decent shots with any make or model. For beginners it would be best to invest in cheapest ones of known brands they can find on ebay and spend some money on lessons. (edited)

When upgrading it may be easier to flog known brand clubs back on ebay

Yes they're cheap but as someone has already stated i'd give some thought to the loft gaps in your current set. 60 degree wedges aren't for everyone.
If you look on ebay and facebook marketplace you can get some excellent bargains.

Before golf direct went bust I got 4 of the latest left hand Mizuno JPX wedges for about £25 each new with discounts and multi buy.

Better to buy some s/h cleveland CG14 wedges off ebay go for about £20 a piece

I'd go 48/50 gap 54/56 sand and 60 lob (edited)

I have these and while I do like them I did have to get a replacement after one of the shafts literally snapped in the middle while I was at the driving range send the head flying down the range into the night. I would also say do not get the multicoloured set as the finish does not last on them. Other than that I am quite happy with the £120 or whatever it was that I paid for them!
