Avoid, we have 2 and in 6 months ones been replaced twice and the other once - battery life is barely a week - these are overpriced and dreadful quality.

I know what I'm about to say sounds insane, but bear with me - you have to update the firmware on them to get good battery life. The stock firmware depletes the battery within few days, after the upgrade they last 2-3 weeks easy.

I suppose these are for the people that take teeth brushing and oral hygiene to another level to most people, but for those who want something that is just as good - but a 3rd of the price - this is the cheapest version of an Oral B electric toothbrush that has a lithium battery (older cheaper models have a NiMH battery) and a pressure sensor for £36 delivered (Prime)

The io series is not worth the money at all, I've got an io7 and regularly find it hasn't cleaned very well and isn't getting between my teeth properly. Battery life is also a bit poor because of all the fancy extras like Bluetooth and the OLED display.

Good deal. I was about to bite but I just bought the io 8 for £127.70 from boots thanks to seeing this deal and doing a bit of research. Stacks with 2x 10% off deals and 10% off from student discount.

battery died on ours within 10 months. i have contacted their customer care, but its a real faff to get it sorted. can't say the price really justifies the quality of the product (internals).

    shame really.

I have to agree with you. I had my IO6 for 11 months before battery gave up. Thankfully I purchased from Costco so got my money back no-quibble.

Although I posted this deal after looking for a replacement IO6, I'm nto yet convinced I'll go back there. (edited)
