sorted byI applied it on all my window hinges and they now open so easily (like new) and that's after trying WD40 and similar lubricants that just didn't work. (edited)
And how to replace your broken one
for potential escape from certain rooms in event of fire so don't replace an escape route
with a smaller opening in case of emergency. (edited)
What I can also think of is that perhaps you put it the wrong way around.
I've had to do this on a few windows and paid 5x this from a local merchant, good price if they stand up to quality
Not sure if these would be ideal or not.
I already proved you are wrong, and from where you took £15.76 cost from, I don't know
