I never get these offers on my nectar app. But I'm always able to activate them. So it's great that members post them, thank you. Now what to buy for £15+ i think I'll wait a day or two as you never know another bonus point offer might appear?

Just remember it will be one single item of £15 or more excluding the postage. Or you could buy multiples of the same item from the same seller to also get the bonus points. So for example buy 15x £1 identical items and also get the bonus points. As long as it's just one transaction costing £15 or more excluding any postage then you'll get the bonus points. Just make sure you've activated the offer first. (edited)

So different items from the same seller same transaction don't count?

Anyone got any tips for what to buy when you don’t need anything? :/

I usually buy something like protein bars but I’ve got plenty atm

I add stuff I like to my saved list. When an offer comes around I buy it. Obviously it's for stuff that I don't mind missing out on or not urgent.

I have a bunch of trainers, clothing, garden stuff, supplements, kitchenware, bulk instant noodles, bedding, medication (non prescription stuff).

I've now got a few pairs of trainers in reserve which were really cheap. A couple of pairs I do regret buying but it helped wise up on what to look for. I mean decent quality trainers for less than when I was a kid. Same with hoodies and joggers. I bought absolute cheap crappy joggers for like 6 quid at first and had to sew up a lot of loose threads and started pilling up after a few hours of wear. I wised up and got ones for 12 and under from puma and river island outlets which are really good quality.

All my hoodies were mostly from 5-10 years ago and got too many holes that I can no longer sew them up (ones I wear at home) so now I have a bunch of new ones for cheaper than what I paid 10 years ago. Overall quality is down these days as some are high on synthetic, low on cotton and the material is thinner so if that matters you need to kind of look into that. Once I found ones I liked I got multiples. I know these won't last but I've got enough to last 2-4 years now.

I'm gradually filling in my garden with perennials, shrubs, trees over time although there are sometimes better bargains on actual gardening sites during sales.

    Combine with topcashback and quidco.

You can meet the minimum spend thresholds by buying multiple of the same item (has to be the same exact variant). I've done that with clothing and plants which were below. They also stack with any seller discounts for buying multiples.

There's also sometimes nectar offers that have long expiry dates so you can activate those and those can stack with current short expiry date ones. (edited)

Looking at some t-shirts from a seller under the same ebay item number, but different colours.

If that's over £15 for the three, will this count? Thanks.
    Mooney70's avatar
No it won't as you'll have 3 different lines on your order. 3 identical t shirts would work, it has to be just one line on your order. Whether it's 50 of the same item or just one.

Thanks Chanchi. I didn't bother with the last one but was chasing up the missing points before that and finally got 1,000 points as a gesture of goodwill.

Don't leave a purchase too late (<30 minutes to expiry on the 12th) on this.

It is showing as activated for me but when I go to checkout, it says "You'll earn 22 Nectar points". Is this normal? I could be misremembering but I thought on previous deals, it had shown the bonus points at checkout

How do you know what is an eligible item. Anything over 15 pounds?
    Thanks.
    NCIS's avatar
Usually anything £15+ but some things like gift cards are excluded because you don't get rewarded Nectar points from what I have seen posted on here previously.

This doesn't have to be on one item. I bought 4 of the HTC phones for 6 pound each and I've received the points. It seems the value of the basket has to be over 15 pound. They don't make that clear tho
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Multiples of the same item are OK.
If it appears as a single line of entry on your order/invoice, it counts as 1 item.

Does anybody know if an item priced at £14.99 will trigger the bonus points?
    David.McEachan's avatar
To confirm, for £14.99 you do indeed get 15 nectar points, but not the bonus points. Lesson learned! (edited)

Does it work if you buy something in an auction format from a private seller
    Mooney70's avatar
Yes, providing the auction finishes during the promo period and you've activated the offer. And it's one item or multiples of the same item over £15 excluding postage. (edited)

Can I get 1000 nectar points if I pay with nectar coupon worth less than the full amount?
    Mooney70's avatar
Yes, as long as it's £15 or more excluding the postage before you add your nectar voucher(s). Make sure you've activated the offer first and buy either one single item or multiples of the same item to get the bonus.
  13. trickz's avatar
Will it work if I spend £10 + £5 delivery?
    Mooney70's avatar
    No, it excludes postage costs.

Now if somebody could just tell me something on eBay that I actually need…
    mcfatty's avatar
Add stuff to your saved or watch list when you see them. Stuff you might not need immediately but do actually need in your everyday life. Then when offers pop up you can buy some of them.

Can I link two eBay accounts to one card at all? They both show activated but not sure which one will count or maybe both?
    Mooney70's avatar
Yes apparently you can add the same nectar card to more than one eBay account. So you might get the bonus added to both accounts if you activate the offer on both after adding nectar card details. I'm guessing one account will be for spending and collecting points. And thr other account might be just for collecting nectar points on eBay. Unless both accounts belong to the nectar card holder?
