For a tenner it's worth a go. My Philips has sort of died as it won't hold charge (and battery replacement is a faff). It'd cost a tenner for a few brush heads

eBay has new sonicare bodies from China for a few pounds, mine has lasted 3 years so far and been fine.

I have one of these and it cleans your teeth, for £10 can't go wrong, if it lasts a year, job done.

Or 30 quid for a more effective Oral B 3000 which will last for many years. (edited)

I also bought a cheap Chinese sonic toothbrush (fairywell I think it is ) I've had it over 2 years, way better than the oral b it replaced, the oral b battery lasted less than a week the cheap 1 i still have lasts around a month still after over 2 years using minimum twice a day (edited)

On my second one of these, first lasted about a year, second one is still going strong 18 months on. It cleans my teeth, for £10 seams a good deal to me

I have 2 electric toothbrushes that I got with extra heads. Both died just over a year (outside warranty) and I have loads of heads but can't find the same make of toothbrush.
I now get them with 18 or 24 month warranty and enough heads.
4 heads should last a year so for this price it is a no brainer. Heat added and purchased.

Brother what? You're supposed to change them each month assuming twice daily brushing...

I've had one of these for a couple of years.
Still going strong, battery lasts longer than the OralB one it replaced and takes a LOT less time to charge. (edited)

Isn't this copyright infringed as its name is similar to Philips Sonicare?

How so?. I don't see any similarity it's just called a sonic toothbrush.

The reviews all seem to refer to a different kids toothbrush seemingly all girls?!

Thing is would this actually be any good or is it just a vibrating toothbrush?

I would suggest it won't clean your teeth as well... you can see a couple of the reviewers trying to be constructive with their criticism, as you don't get products for free if you berate them!

Got something similar about a year ago. The charge lasts a couple of weeks on it and the brush heads are reasonable.

Tempting but having paid 3 grand for an implant I think I'll give it the utmost care... Even going as far as flossing!

The Sonicare I have is pretty compact.

I'd have gone for something more reputable for the carry case alone but fake reviews ehhhh nah that ain't it chief.

Mine arrived today and I gave it a whirl earlier.

No, it's not as powerful as a Philips, but it's certainly better than £10. It lacks inductive charging (uses a USB-A to single prong cable), but has 30s interval pauses to remind you to move on to the next section of brushing. It has a standard 2 minute timer on the brush cycle.

It's quite light and slim, has a carry case and some sort of mounting adaptors that I will never use.

Until a crazy deal comes up again for a nice Philips, this will do a great job. 6 heads will last an age and it certainly beats manual brushing.
