Includes premium drinks package

Perfect taster cruise, a bit niche perhaps, but a crazy price at £23pp a night. Figured this could be a nice addition to a week long or so Europe getaway. Obvs flights aren't included, but shouldn't cost too much (even if you have to book closer to the time). I'd also be tempted to look out to see if this drops in price (should do closer to the time); seascanner.co.uk/tra…nce

I just cannot see anyone from the UK going for this, the cost of trying to execute this with getting to airport, parking, 1 way flight, Taxis/transfers from airport, transfer/ taxi back to airport, 1 way flight back etc would by far make it awful value for money... let alone a rediculous amount of planning and organising

Sorry, but pointless in my opinion

It is so easy to do it, I believe my daughter could have done it. 50432797-5hgB1.jpg50432797-GTMUc.jpg

Great idea, a night or two in Rome before hand, then a cruise to Marseille and another night or two there, combined with cheap flights, what a fantastic little get away and back just in time for your turkey dinner.

    Heat.

Was thinking just the same. Unfortunately, all the airports near me don't fly to Rome in December. Didn't even bother looking for Marsaille

Never sailed with MSC. How do they compare with, say, Royal Caribbean, Princess et al

Definitely the cheaper side of the market. The food isn't as nice but I went on a 3 day one from Southampton lately on the virtuosa and the ship staff and entertainment were brilliant. For a short cruise with a drinks package you can't beat it.

can you explain how the premium drinks package at £29pp can be added? So with that should the cost be £104pp? I don't see how to book at that price as on the stateroom selection page the inside cabins come up as £46 Early booking w/ drinks package. So is that already including drinks? (edited)

Who goes on a cruise in a windy and cold December? But an excellent deal.

We did Southampton to Hamburg, Rotterdam and Le Havre last December with MSC on Virtuosa. It was -2 during the day. Loved it though.

We got a week for £299, full board, and £199 for the Premium Drinks package. Total bargain

So much to do on these big ships that it didnt really matter what it was like out on deck. (edited)

50430610-u8iyF.jpgWe stayed on this ship as a floating hotel in Qatar for the World Cup. We had a great time we had a drink a dine package, not sure what this meant until we arrived, it was free drinks with lunch and dinner. The free drinks were small draft Heinekens or small red/white wines. The real winner was lunch was 11:30 'til 17:00 and dinner 18:00 'til 22:00. This info is of no use to anyone now really. There is a nice little outside area at the back of the buffet.

Many of the cruises sold UK come with premium extra drinks, pretty much everything included all the time.

Think it's a misprice, the drinks package alone costs £58 usually

They set aside the bad food and ask the staff to be rude and slack for those few days?……

The only drawback is he facilities at Civitavecchia, I have done it twice now and will never do it again. Train station is just short of useless and the taxi/coach availability post cruise is a waste of time. Spoilt what was 2 good cruises. Heat for the post on its own merit though
